Wonderful place with wonderful people. They cremated my father’s body. They were extremely responsive to my requests and scheduling needs. They also explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions. I am incredibly happy with the services received.

They were one of three cremation services that Hospice recommended to me after my beautiful husband passed away in Jan. of 2026. After speaking to all three companies I chose Affordable Crematory because they treated me with respect and dignity during the most stressful and confusing time in my life. They were very professional and helpful during the entire experience

They were compassionate and caring. Explained everything to me clearly. My wife's ashes were given to me in a timely manner. I couldn't be happier short of having her still with me.

Negative stars if i could. Christine very unprofessional, cussing at my mom and talking to her very unprofessional and ugly. I had to get the phone from her and speak on her behalf because, my mom was dealing with traumatic event and those people were rude to her. Never go through them. And charging 1700$ for a simple cremation? Then saying I cant call with info for my mother , please don't so services with them. Horrible Horrible Horrible

Our families experience from start to finish was great. Mary explained everything to us with great detail. Going in there we were kind of lost because we didn't even know where to start. But the way she explained everything to us and our options were of great help. Everyone was very welcoming and understanding. Thank you for everything.

I'd give negative stars if I could. The lady there was so unprofessional with the cremation of my mother. When I went to pick up my mother they didn't even have her in her urn we specifically got for her. Not only that but they cancelled my service two hours before the viewing and were only going to give me $100 of my $225 service back. When we went to get my mother and the refund we demanded our full refund for the service back because that wasn't on our end and the lady then got in my sisters face so unprofessionally and had to be held back by her own husband because she didn't want to give us the refund that was rightfully ours. Going through something as traumatic as losing a mother and then having to go through this process of getting her back and having her handled so unwell hurt our hearts more. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I'm still shocked at the fact that they handled everything so terribly. Never let them handle the ones you love if they can't have the decency to be kind to you in your time of suffering.

Please don’t do business with Serenity. Save yourself the stress! From the start, Mary had an attitude, seemed annoyed with questions we had. She wasn’t too informative with many things and had to be called back many times. At our mother’s funeral, she tells us she couldn’t do the dove release (that were ordered and paid for years ago by our mother)and tells us she would reimburse us?! Then she said she forgot. We were pretty upset already, then to hear this? After 30 minutes she said she managed to find someone and that he would be there in a while. We had to drag out the graveside service just to wait for the dove person she forgot to order. Go somewhere else. She hasn’t a clue how to communicate with those who are grieving.

My grandmother just passed. Although I had no say as to which funeral home would attend to her preparation and burial (we came from out of state), I am highly HIGHLY disappointed. Being a mortuary school graduate myself, I KNOW better than to rush a family that is grieving. The service was quick and informal. The priest was very personal and I appreciated his eulogy. However, while family was still reminiscing about grandma, we were being packed up. When we got to the cemetery, it was SO rushed I don’t even know why they put chairs out. Flowers, dirt, and grandma was put in the ground. I would never recommend such uncaring people to care for your loved ones. I did hear Mary say they are former insurance salesmen. Mary, if you are reading this, people are not a product. If you can’t get behind that (previous reviews show you can’t) please take your salesmen tactics to a different profession. You are, respectfully, giving the funeral business a bad name. Best of luck. Please Note: The only reason this is 2 star is because of the priest.
