I was at this location and placed my order thru the kiosk. I asked the personnel about Buffalo sauce which they replied they only had Tabasco. My friend placed his order, an Oreo Shake. I received a text saying that my order was ready but when I went to ask for it they said it wasn’t ready yet. I went back and sat down while still waiting for my order. 15 mins later I go and ask if my order is ready and a male employee started going through the orders in the monitor and found it. He came up to me and said that somebody else had picked it up with same name and order number (BS). So he told me that they had just dropped the order and that they would let me know when it’s ready. Zero apologies! Which is what made me feel very unappreciated as a customer. I told the male employee to just give me a refund and once again no apologies, nothing.

Shake Shack Downtown Los Angeles is a high-energy, modern burger outpost located in the heart of the Historic Core. It is widely recognized for maintaining a clean and organized space despite its busy urban setting, offering a reliable fast-casual experience that bridges the gap between quick service and premium quality. The atmosphere features a faux-industrial aesthetic with expansive bay windows that provide excellent views of the bustling 8th Street. It is a popular spot for a quick lunch or a late-night bite, especially given its extended hours—open until 2:00 AM daily. * **Menu Highlights:** The signature ShackBurger is the go-to, praised for its soft potato bun and well-seasoned Angus beef. For those seeking meatless options, the 'Shroom Burger—a crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted cheese—is a highly-rated vegetarian standout. * **Service & Efficiency:** The location utilizes both touchscreen kiosks and traditional counter service to manage high traffic effectively. Reviewers frequently mention that the staff remains polite and efficient even during peak hours. * **Urban Environment:** Being in Downtown Los Angeles, parking can be extremely difficult. Most vis

Visited Shake Shack Downtown Los Angeles recently and honestly it was a really good experience. Burgers were super juicy and fresh, especially the classic cheese burger. Fries were crispy and well seasoned. Service was quick and staff was friendly. The place had a nice vibe, clean and comfortable for dine-in. Overall, a solid spot if you’re craving a good burger meal. Would definitely visit again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Shake Shack in LA has a really great atmosphere. It feels like a classic downtown burger shack with big glass windows where you can see the city and traffic passing by outside. It creates a fun, lively vibe while you’re enjoying your food. Right now they’re really going all in on their Korean fried chicken limited-time menu, so we decided to try the 6-piece Korean fried chicken along with a double cheeseburger and two regular fries. They also have Korean fried chicken topped fries and a sandwich option, which looked interesting, though we didn’t try those this time. The Korean fried chicken had a nice flavor and was cooked well, but in my opinion it didn’t stand out too much from a typical chicken tender. Still tasty, just not dramatically different. What really stood out to me was the burger. It was absolutely delicious and honestly tasted like a really good burger I might make at home—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Between the great service, A+ atmosphere, and a really solid burger, this was a great stop in LA. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

I’m really glad I gave this California favorite another try. My first visit was a bit hit-or-miss, but the second time around completely won me over. The cheese fries were incredible—rich, flavorful, and something I’d happily order again without hesitation. The atmosphere has a fun, laid-back vibe, and the staff made the experience even better with their friendly, easygoing energy. It’s the kind of place that feels welcoming and memorable, and I left genuinely happy I stopped by again. Cheers to second chances!
