This intimate, chef-owned restaurant is run by a single chef who somehow cooks, serves, and keeps everything running seamlessly. We were honestly amazed at how quickly our food arrived, and every single dish was packed with rich, incredible flavors. We loved every bite. The chef was so focused, passionate, and genuinely kind, which made the experience even more special. My only complaint has nothing to do with the restaurant itself, the neighborhood felt a little sketchy, so we were a bit nervous about parking. Luckily, we found a spot right in front, which gave us some peace of mind. If you’re here for amazing food and a unique dining experience, it’s absolutely worth the visit. We’ll definitely be back.

I discovered this gem a few months ago browsing Google Maps. I made a reservation back in June for July 5th to celebrate my partner's birthday. Man, this place lives up to the 5 star reviews. Unfortunately, my partner and I were too into the food that we didn't bother taking pictures past the falafel appetizer. Lol. We ordered half of the menu (we can eat!). We got the Siverek Tava, Corti Taplamasi, Pekmez-marinated Chicken, Dry-Aged Tenderloin Shish Kebab, Root Vegetables Falafel, Spicy Eggplant Salad and Garlic-Spiced Kebab. EVERY SINGLE DISH WAS A HIT! My favourite was the dry-aged tenderloin shish kebab. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The falafels were my second favourite dish. Everything was so good! The chef was nice, attentive and caring. The chef checks you in, you order your food at a kiosk and you sit at the table that the chef assigns for you. The food comes out pretty quickly. There's plenty of metered parking and it's free after 6:00 p.m. Do yourself a favour and book a reservation. It's very intimate and perfect for a date, special occasion or just for an evening to eat great food.

We had a fantastic meal at Sora Craft Kitchen! Every dish we ordered was delicious. The içli köfte was incredibly flavorful, the eggplant salad was fresh and perfectly seasoned, and both the shish kebab and köfte kebab were cooked beautifully and full of flavor. The pekmez-marinated chicken was a standout—tender, juicy, and unique. We finished with the rice pudding and halva, and both desserts were outstanding. From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Sora Craft Kitchen to anyone looking for exceptional Turkish cuisine!

Fantastic experience. Calm and peaceful dinner in LA? The atmosphere reminded me of dining in Japan. I thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried. Reservation is probably a MUST. For the uninitiated, order your meal from the kiosk.

Incredible Turkish and Mediterranean food tucked away in a very unexpected part of DTLA. Stepping into the restaurant felt like stepping into the chef’s living room— cozy and inviting. There’s a kiosk to place your order, and a handful of tables which made for an intimate dining experience. The food came out quickly and the pacing was good. Everything was absolutely phenomenal, and very reasonably priced. This is now my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in LA, hands down.
