I’m out $20 cash, and had a heartbreaking experience at this store. My boyfriend tried to split our payment across cash and a card, and we were charged for the full amount on the card, but gave over $20 cash before we realized. That might have been fine, if the checker hadn’t been incredibly rude and hostile when we tried to point out the error. We checked the total of rung up items, and he told me to come back if I saw the bank charged the full amount. I checked when I got outside, but when I went back to show him he still denied it and told me I should “calm down and not scream at him” when I was talking at a normal volume, and just a little annoyed. Of course that did sort of piss me off, and when I firmly told him that in fact he could calm down, shit hit the fan. He ended up chasing me out of the store to continue yelling and cussing me out (by this point I was also actually yelling.) Trying to pick up a beer after work and getting this kind of treatment is just beyond the pale. I live nearby, and have been going to this store since I was in high school down the street (20 years ago) so I’m honestly pretty broken up about not ever going back : (

Just moved to the neighborhood two weeks ago. Have noticed everytime I buy something the total bumps up at least $1 more when I go to pay. They shows me a receipt and was an automatic $1 up charge for using a card on a total over $10. It’s completely overpriced to begin with. Watch your total go up when you go to pay … Will not be back unless an emergency. Complete Bulshit .

I’ve been shopping here for months, and I keep returning because of the outstanding service and the unbeatable quality of products. The store is always clean, and the shelves are well-stocked with the best organic and local products. The staff goes above and beyond to assist with locating items or offering suggestions, which makes the shopping experience enjoyable. What’s really impressive is the value; their prices are competitive, and I feel like I’m getting a great deal without compromising on quality. Highly recommend!

Clerk has a bad attitude. Items are generally overpriced. I asked if I could pay card, and charged me a .75 cent transaction fee. I offered to pay cash instead, and he just shrugged his shoulders. I recommend going elsewhere.

The employees were basic friendly but they really do an unwelcoming and aggressive job when it comes to the restroom. I used it and even cleaned up the area and did additional cleaning to make it nice for the convenience store person because I used to work in one of these places and I know nobody likes to clean up a restroom for anybody. Yes I purchased stuff here first. Even so, one minute into closing the door I hear a bang on the door telling me I have to get out immediately because the person who works there is going to get in trouble because I used the bathroom. When human decency takes a backseat to business operations I cannot favorably rate an establishment because it's not welcoming and it's anti-human. The people were nice and friendly until they weren't and for no moral reason. Y'all can do better. Do you really want to be known as the heartless community store? What does it say about you and your customers? That you don't want to work while you're at work? That you actually don't care about people? Have some human decency and respect others as you would love them to respect you. They do not be following the Golden rule here.
