I’ve been going here since they opened at least once a week. It’s a tasty, fast and super friendly place. Food is mostly consistent, and even when it’s not the top tier, it’s still is better than most other BBQ I’ve had. I’ve tried all their meats and they all are quite flavorful and juicy. Their brisket and ribs are my favorite, and also their farmers salad is delicious. Their baked potatoes are massive! Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They have always been great to my daughter and dog when I bring her on the patio. I can almost always find seating even for a big group and food is served fast and hot.

Great bbq, great deals and great staff! The bbq chicken was to die for and so was the potatoes salad. We came here late (8:50pm) on July 4 and it's wasn't that busy they were very friendly and had a great 4th of July deal for family's that feeds 5 people for only 95$ and you get 2 choices of meat and 3 sides... It was very nice to not have to cook to night

Stopped in for lunch today. The sever brought the food to the table. Sandwich was hot but the fries were cold, not even partially warm. They also were partially burned like they tried to double cook them to keep them warm. I told her the fries were cold and the reply was “oh did you want more?” That should have been self explanatory since she just set the tray down. Brisket sandwich was tasty Missed opportunity for better service and temperature/quality of the side.

Loving the Barbeque Pit (old Burger Pit) at the corner of Blossom Hill Rd and Kooser. Family of restaurants to include South Winchester Bbq and more. I’ve dined in, had delivered and had catered various bbq meats and sides from The Barbeque Pit all experiences have been good-friendly customer service, clean comfortable outdoor and indoor areas, prepared boxed lunches and take-out catering for 30 people. The restaurant dine in offers the best craft fountain soda by Stubborn. Craft beer in the cans. Counter, table and booth seating. Two large TV’s at the counter. Clean restrooms. Plenty of free parking.

4.5/5 – Excellent brisket that was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The garlic bread was fantastic and the loaded baked potato was a great side. Beans were good but could have used a little more seasoning and depth of flavor. Overall, a very satisfying BBQ meal and I’d definitely come back.
