Eating out in the United States ranges from food trucks and diners to tasting-menu dining rooms, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the recent reviews are rather than on decor. Most kitchens will adapt a dish for dietary needs if you ask. Many restaurants take reservations online; walk-ins are common at casual spots. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 everywhere.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Traffic in San Diego peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We stopped by after doing some errands in South Park. Was greeted by the owners inside (very cozy), and they were super warm and inviting…telling us about their different drink specials, how they started, etc. I ended up getting their OBSL (Orange Brown Sugar Latte), and wife got Vanilla Latte. Both were excellent! Sat in their outdoor area for a bit before continuing on with the day. Overall great coffee shop, great atmosphere, and great drinks! Highly recommend!

Do not skip out!! I was searching for a good coffee place and this place came up #1. It is well deserving of that ranking. The moment my wife and I walked in, we were welcomed. It’s a cute little place next to a barber shop. We asked Marissa, who is the owner what she recommended. It was the OBSL which is unique. It stands for orange, brown sugar latte. The coffee was smooth and the orange was subtle but it made this coffee so desirable. Looking back I should’ve ordered the vanilla bean concha which is the Mexican pan that they had available. If we are in the area we would especially brave the area to grab a coffee which is well worth it. I highly recommend this place.

Love this little café. I stopped by early one morning to grab a coffee before heading to an event at Balboa Park, and it was such a nice start to the day. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and happy to chat, which made the place feel really warm and inviting. I ordered a latte and a morning bun, and both were delicious. While there isn’t any indoor seating, they have a lovely outdoor patio area with plenty of tables. It’s a great spot to sit with a book, get some work done, or just enjoy your coffee. I ended up spending some time there catching up on my reading before heading out to the event. I’ll definitely be back.

It was good coffee but not as great as some of the other coffee shops in SD. I’m not the biggest fan of oatly’s oatmilk but the shop was cool, their story on how they got their shop was pretty cool. Great service and they were very happy to have you visit them. Give them a chance

Small parking lot on the corner with some spots. Went in the morning and was greeted by the owners right away upon entering. They even took the time to explain their specialties and what they are known for. Ordered the Orange Brown Sugar Latte (OBSL) iced. And WOW. This drink was amazing. They make the syrups in house along with adding real orange in the drink. The orange was very subtle and the taste of the coffee was still present. The drink was delicious and will definitely comeback again. Great ambiance, great owners, and amazing coffee.
