Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Traffic in Los Angeles peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. One of the cutest places Everything’s cute if you like pastel colors, simple American brunch foods, and baked deserts. If you want a breakfast burrito or a sandwich served with a smile in a clean and charming spot…and maybe add on a chocolate brownie bc u deserve it. Then this is probably where u want to perch urself while u pretend to be doing something important on your laptop.

The staff are always so kind and several have remembered me after only a couple visits. The food is delicious. I really love the tuna melt. They also had a seasonal harvest hash with sweet potato several months ago that was fantastic. The cherry hand pie was not very sweet, which my friend did not like but I did. I liked the tartness, and the texture was lovely.

Really good food here & great customer service. Thank you Augusta for your upbeat vibes! EntrΓ©e: I enjoyed the veggie scramble, vegan wrap, breakfast 🌯, quiche, vegan emoanadas, and the VBLTA. The VBLTA is a vegan version of the BLTA comes with a side of soup of the day or a salad. Although I'm not vegan, I really enjoy their vegan options too. I'm so glad they have the VBLTA here because a vegan restaurant, Flore retired and so goes my favorite vegan sandwich with the fried jackfruit. They're pretty identical so I'm glad I tried it! Sweets: The raspberry 🍫 roll is too die for! I ❀️ how they are not too sweet so you can really taste the chocolate, cream filling and the raspberry filling. It's like Little Debbie's Swiss roll but actually good and made with good ingredients. There's only one guy here that makes them so they sell like πŸ”₯ πŸŽ‚! Call in to make sure they have them. My other favorites is their macaroons, 🧁, olive oil πŸ‹ πŸŽ‚, poppy seed πŸŽ‚, gluten free πŸ₯₯ raspberry bar, πŸ’empanada, Father's Day Pop Tart, and Danish. However, I'm not fond of their regular sized πŸŽ‚ . The frosting/cream on those are a bit on the heavy and too sweet side for me. Drinks: Caffeine free

The Village Bakery is one of my favorite bakeries in the area. They serve breakfast and lunch, but the real standouts to me are the numerous baked goods they have on display. Almost everything I've tried has been really quite good and generaly not overly sweet. Some personal favorites are the Fightin' (Almond) Cake, Lemon Rosemary Cake, and vegan kitchen sink type cookie (can't remember the actual name of that one). They make super cute and creative treats for the various holidays. For Halloween this year, we tried: - Apple Hand Pie: Simple but well made with a flaky crust - Vegan Chocolate Skull Cake: was actually kind of disappointed with this. It looked cool but there was a bit of an odd flavor. - Chocolate Pudding Graveyard: My favorite of these, with a rich, not too sweet, dark chocolate base and cute white chocolate ghosts - Witch Finger and haunted house Sugar Cookies: intricately designed, good, standard sugar cookies In my experience, the people working there have been very friendly and upbeat. It's counter service, there's seating inside and a few tables outside, and I've never had trouble getting a table.

This restaurant has really good breakfast burritos for 14 dollars and I also had the large cappuccino for 4.25 my purchase was 20 dollars in total for what you get it was ok. I did not try any of the pastries, I will leave that experience for the next visit. They have tables available for dining in and tables outside for those who want a more refreshing experience. This restaurant does not have a parking lot which makes parking hard to find. The only parking available is on the city curb and it is metered parking. The restaurant is kind of wheelchair accessible but no handicapped parking is available on the curb. Overall this restaurant has really good food and it is definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby.
