The ambience and drinks were great. You can walk up stairs on a tiny balcony as well. Note: Avoid the skinny male bartender if you can, we personally did not care for his attitude.

Have i found my new favorite spot? Just may have! Stepping into here is like being transported back into history. Their happy hours are 5-7pm and honestly, can't go wrong with ANY here. One of my favorite is The Reyna - the coconut foam is so nice to the overall drinks. The food is also great! Fries were crispy as requested and the burger had a lovely caramelized onions. I went two nights in a row and still SO many things I want to try so definitely will be back and bringing my friends!

The building has been around since 1906, the location of The Wolves bar used to be the original lobby of the Alexandria Hotel. This bar is a beautiful homage to old Los Angeles, however, the only original part of the bar is the tile floor, everything else has been brought in from other locations, and it is gorgeous. The craft cocktails are well balanced as a mixologists approach to the cocktail is taken. Fresh ingredients are used and prepared in-house. Try the items on the Green (Happy) Hour menu, they are created with chartreuse, and they are tasty. Food items on the menu are delicious and pair well with the cocktails. If you enjoy a well balanced craft cocktail, combined with an old school ambiance, beautiful architecture and good customer service. This is your stop. Your in Los Angeles, so anticipate parking to be that of downtown L.A. and check the hours of operation. I will probably see you there, cheers!

The charcuterie board was so good and a couple next to us had the same thing, but they didn’t finish it and we almost thought about stealing their leftovers, but that’s diabolical. The vibe was vibes. We love the stained glass and the martini menu.

I dropped by for a few cocktails and ended up really enjoying the whole experience. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance—dark and stylish without feeling stuffy or formal. I asked for a small tweak to one of the drinks, and even though there was a bit of hesitation at first, it came out fantastic. You truly can’t miss with bread and butter, and theirs was especially satisfying. Overall, it’s a relaxed spot with a cool edge, great drinks, and simple touches done right.
