San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

1. Park Quality - I have very mixed thoughts about the overall park. There is a lot of beauty here with a nice proximity to the golf course. (a huge benefit if you golf) But, the noise from Friar Rd, the narrowness of the park road which make vehicles going by your site exceptionally loud, the goat head thorns, and just a general malaise from maintenance about the upkeep of the RV part of the park. 2. Sites - All sites are concrete pads that are fairly level. Utilities were good with the exception of extremely hard water. My site had loads of goat head thorns and I actually removed a half dozen plants. Spacing between sites was decent. 3. Location - The park is somewhat isolated and is not walkable to anything. Commissary and BX were a bit of a drive. (Mainly I went to Miramar) 4. Noise - While I was there, the motorcycles and diesel pickups were very disturbing as they left for work around 5:30 am. (speed also seems to be something they could care less about) Then there was Friar Rd. There was absolutely no peace and quiet as this road was a main thoroughfare for every loud vehicle on their way to and from work. And finally throw in the early morning golf maintenance and itβs a

They are increasing prices again. Nothing has been done to the park to excuse the price hike. The bugs are terrible. There is no pool and the washer and dryers are expensive and do not work. Campland or Sun outdoors is worth it.. not here

(We did not use for camping or stay here, we used the park) We did a party here recently. The location was close to the park and we were able to have a bouncehouse. They allowed us to rent out a complete area with easy access to clean bathrooms. Parking was really easy. The park was well maintained, and we didn't get accosted by bugs. I would recommend for bday parties or events. It was beautiful here. You do have to rent through their office, but they were really helpful when needed. They follow up on phone calls and assist when asked.

Perfect spot for our company picnic of about 100. We rented gazebo 2 and had an electrical outlet that we could plug our bouncehouse into, space was huge with lots of tables , area was clean, grill was more than big enough to accommodate our group (think 4x the size of a grill youβd probably see at a beach/park) and customer service was very accommodating. Bathrooms are the typical outdoor park bathroom but were clean. Office admin was very accommodating although sometimes difficult to get a hold of via phone to answer questions. I was apprehensive since there are a lot of rules in the agreement but everything went fine without any issue. Overall turned out great and I look forward to recommending this place for future events .
