When booking a hotel or travel service in the United States, confirm the check-in window, parking fees, resort fees and whether breakfast is included before you arrive; many properties add taxes and fees on top of the quoted rate. Reviews that mention noise, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Prices swing sharply around holidays, spring break, conventions and local events, so book early for those dates.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Mission Bay RV Resort is in a fantastic location with easy access to the bay, nearby beaches, restaurants, and many of San Diegoβs attractions. The resort itself was clean and well maintained, and I especially appreciated how clean the pool area was throughout my stay. The laundry rooms were another highlight they were clean, the washers and dryers were reliable, and I enjoyed that they use a mobile app for payment instead of requiring quarters as an alternate option. Overall, it was a pleasant place to camp near the beech and enjoy everything the area has to offer. The only disappointments were the RV repair contacts recommended in the resortβs information pamphlet and the dog park. I needed someone to look at my RV refrigerator, but one technician replied that he was leaving on vacation and couldnβt help which is understandable. The other technician initially responded and said he had availability the following day, but then didnβt follow up until the day I was leaving two days too late to be of any assistance. While I understand the resort canβt control independent service providers, it would be helpful if the recommended contacts were more reliable or if the list were updated

We rented a space at Mission bay, only to find a couple of bad situations with loose dogs that were prohibited from being there. The first was a Mastiff breed that literally came in out camp site to attack. The 2nd was either a Pitt or some breed like that, where I had to rush to put our dog inside. Really ruined the trip as I couldn't relax or enjoy knowing any other dogs could come and attack.SO not worth that trip!!! Never again, and will always mention my bad time there!

We stayed at Mission Bay RV Resort for 13 days. We loved our stay, great jump off spot for many attractions. Although the resort is older, it is well maintained. We felt safe and had no problems at all.

This place is neither a βresortβ or vacation spot. Itβs a run down mobile home park where more spots are filled with full time residents than vacationers. The pictures on their website are completely deceiving and when you are clicking on spots to reserve it shows a bunch of green areas, itβs all weeds and rock. Everywhere you walk you see dog poop, even our site had 4 piles in it. The sites are huge but you have to park right against the fence and at the end because of where the hook ups are. I didnβt feel particularly unsafe but it didnβt feel safe either. I canβt believe itβs even a Good Sam place. Itβs really trashy and run down. I could almost understand if it was like $40 a night as a stopping place on your way somewhere else but we paid almost $300 for a Friday and Saturday off season. Absolutely not worth it. Pic 6 is the green area on their map as like maybe a little dog relief area but dogs canβt even walk on the rocks and it has weeds growing through. Itβs pretty gross

I'm going to give it that fifth star. It was a wet week for us in San Diego so we didn't get to enjoy some things but that wasn't the RV parks fault. It did make our spot very muddy and nasty. However, the spot itself was great. In fact, it's the best spot in the whole RV park confirmed by the guy at the front desk when we checked in bf2. It's a 60x60 enormous RV lot. With all the amenities you'd expect. 50 amp sewer, water all that. The bathrooms were clean and accessible. I didn't see a general store or anything like that so that's a little bit of a negative but not enough to skew my rating. If you're staying in the regular part, it's just a parking lot and I'm not sure I would have given it five stars. You're very close to people and there's certainly people that are full-timer so lots of clutter going on but it's also level and it's concrete which means if we would have stayed there I wouldn't have to spend 3 hours cleaning all the mud off of everything that we have in the RV so there's trade-offs. The staff was helpful. They were present and around the grounds themselves were nice. The location is excellent. It's right next to a massive mission Bay Park and right next t
