We were told it would only take a short time to get in for a walk-in sports physical. Over three hours later we finally got in. If I had known how long the wait would likely be, I would have scheduled an apt. instead. Staff need to set more realistic expectations at the counter so people can plan and adjust accordingly. What was less than 10 minutes of routine staff time took 3-4 hours of waiting. My kid with ADHD nearly lost his mind. Please be realistic.

I was very hesitant to go back to the AFC Urgent Care based on my last visit maybe 5 to 7 years ago! When I woke up Saturday morning, I was so sick looked at the closest Urgent Care and check to see if they take my insurance. AFC was the closest so I decided to give them another try... Upon arriving after doing the online appointment, I was a met by a very nice guy named Javon. He welcomed to me, made sure I was comfortable and then the Nurse came. She introduced herself, welcomed me, did my vitals and put me in a treatment room. The room was clean, organized and well lit. Shortly after the doctor came in, Introduced himself and proceeded to ask questions about how I’m feeling? how long it’s been going on? All prior to doing an examination. He’s a triathlete and has experienced this recently, apparently upper respiratory infections are really going around right now. He prescribed me medication and said if I wasn’t feeling better in the week to check back in. That’s what I did and had a very similar experience with a different girl that was seated at the front very nice warm friendly saw the same doctor had a great nurse experience and now I hope my new insurance that I’m gettin

I had to delete my old review and do a new one so management would see it. Natali at the front desk was awesome!!!!!! Very friendly and welcoming girl. I came in 10 mins before they close and said can i still be seen i just closed mt business she said absolutely! That was great! She gave me a smile as i got my paperwork started. The Dr was quick to come in and diag me quickly with meds. Again shout out to Natali at the front desk she was so nice! Went to CVS next door to get meds before they closed too.

I love the fact that you can schedule the appointment online, and, if you’re crazy busy, or just too sick to get out the house in time, to be on time, you can change the appointment if needed, even 30 mins beforehand, with zero drama. I am actually a huge fan of this urgent care. Front office staff is friendly and efficient as well as professional, assistant medical and nursing staff, also amazing and attentive, and both providers that I’ve seen on my multiple visits ( it’s a medical mess in my life, trust) were rad. Yes Rad. They listen, they help, and no weird judging. Entire process is so quick, so simple, and waaaay better than my GP’s office for sure. AFC urgent care is a business, yes, but it’s actually a Business of Healthcare that’s not aggressively working against my actual HEALTH. A+, yes please!

It was a great and enjoyable experience! The staff treated me really well and the wait time wasn’t too bad, as there were only 2-ish people ahead of me. The nurse practitioner that saw me was very nice and helpful, getting to the point in the interaction. It was seamless and easy, and they sent over my medication to my preferred pharmacy. It was a good overall experience. Thank you to all the staff, even the receptionist!
