Evan (I hope I got his name right) made this one of our best rental experiences. He was super aware of how much luggage we had, same that we had 2 kids and could not reasonably fit into the car we originally were going to get. He found us something more appropriate, and even made sure all our seats were adjusted properly while I loaded luggage. That freed me up to setup the car seat as soon as I was done with the trunk. This really helped us get situated quickly so we could start our vacation stay in San Diego!

Ozjan provided outstanding customer service during my vehicle pickup. From the moment I arrived, he was friendly, professional, and efficient. He made the entire rental process quick and hassle-free, answering any questions I had and ensuring everything was ready to go. Thanks to his excellent preparation and customer-focused attitude, I was in and out in less than five minutes. It was one of the fastest and smoothest rental experiences I’ve had. I truly appreciate his professionalism and would gladly rent from this location again because of the exceptional service he provided.

We paid in advance for the car, cost us about 300 for 4 days (which was reasonable). My wife and I arrived and were asked to put down 200 as a deposit because we weren't using a credit card to pay. That seemed reasonable as well, so we handed over a card with full expectation of getting that money back. We returned the car in pristine condition and with a full tank. A few days later, we were charged another 260. That didn't seem like much of an issue. I called customer service a few days later to ask for my deposit back, and the representative told me that I would get it back 3-5 business days after our trip ended. That didn't seem like much of an issue, so I accepted it and carried on. My wife told me that the money still hadn't come back. I called customer service again and was told that I wasn't getting it back because of fees and service upgrades. This company is a pack of thieves that will pretend to offer normal customer service and then take everything they can from you. If the guy walking you to your car asks for a 5-star review in exchange for an upgrade, it's a trick: they're covering up the bad reviews.

I had an outstanding experience with the rental agent, Jacqueline. My wife and I came into the Avis location here to exchange our rental car from Texas. From the moment I arrived, she was friendly, professional, and genuinely focused on providing excellent customer service. Jacqueline took the time to answer all of my questions, explained the rental process clearly, and made sure I received the best vehicle for my needs. What impressed me most was how she went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. Jacqueline was patient, attentive, and proactive in resolving a minor issue before it became a problem. Her positive attitude and willingness to help made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. Exceptional customer service like this is rare, and I truly appreciate the extra effort she put into making my rental experience a great one. Thank you for your professionalism and dedication—I would gladly rent from this location again because of the outstanding service I received.

1. Charged $150 for Loss Damage Wavier without consent. Was not presented with a printed rental agreement during check-in process. Only found out after the reviewing receipt when car was returned. 2. Vehicle was in poor condition including a broken taillight. The interior was also extremely filthy… PS: The instructions on the email confirmation is also very unclear. Did not provide any info on how to get to the car rental from the airport terminal. Did not provide any info on the check-in process whatsoever SMH. Only saving grace is their customer service. I called and was able to get someone on the phone quickly. The rep acknowledged my concerns and able to offer some concessions. Admittedly if we were more careful we could’ve avoided these so next time we will remember.
