We have been bringing our cats and dog to this clinic for several years. The staff has always been friendly and caring, and we had many positive experiences with routine care, vaccinations, medications, Henry’s neuter surgery, and Oscar’s dental cleaning. However, we also experienced several recurring issues. We often waited more than an hour past our scheduled appointment time. On two occasions, medications prescribed by the veterinarian were not provided to us at checkout, and we had to drive back to pick them up. We also had difficulty obtaining eye medication for Henry, even though his condition seemed obvious and we were traveling at the time. The most concerning experience was with our kitten Skya. We came in already worried about FIP, but she was sent home for observation and later required emergency treatment when her condition worsened. We also wish our senior dog Oscar had been offered more treatment options instead of only supportive care. Overall, the team is kind and genuinely cares about animals, but we hope to see improvements in communication, organization, wait times, and clinical decision-making. Recently had to find a new vet clinic after moving and got referred to Cahuenga Vet Hospital from a friend. Awesome initial experience for an annual check-up for my dog Portia. Dr. Boesgaard and her staff took time to make my dog comfortable from the weight scale to her vaccine. Easy parking, clean clinic, easy going staff. Very happy to have found CVH.

My pitbull and I have been going to Dr. Croquenois and Dr. Boesgaard for over 2 years now. Their entire office has provided amazing care at super reasonable prices. Dr. Boesgaard did a very thorough body exam and found a lump I had not even noticed! They do their best to squeeze you in for emergency appointments and they work long hours to make sure all patients are cared for -- I have personally witnessed them stay late to care for my dog and have received phone calls from CVH in the early evening when they had test results to communicate to me (they didn't keep me waiting until the next business day!). All of the staff have been kind, communicative, and knowledgeable in my experience. I like the fact that I recognize the same friendly faces at their office and that they triage patients, phone calls, and paperwork so professionally. There's limited parking out front, BUT there's usually ample street parking on Cahuenga Blvd or Cole Ave. I've referred their office to 2 lifelong Angelenos who have tried out other vet offices in the past and both of them have switched to make CVH their vet given the prime location, great pricing, and positive atmosphere.

I have nothing but great things to say about Cahuenga Veterinary Hospital. Dr. C and Dr. Boesgaard went above and beyond to help save my furry son’s life. My fur son had a very severe reaction to an oral flea and tick medication, which caused him to develop acute pancreatitis. They immediately got him in and started a lifesaving treatment plan to help save his life. Not only did they provide incredible medical care, but they also contacted the manufacturer of the flea and tick medication to report the negative reaction. The entire team truly did everything they could to make things right and to give my son the best chance possible. They are a wonderful, caring veterinary clinic and the only vets I trust to take care of my furry children. Their compassion, professionalism, and dedication during such a scary time meant the world to me and my family. They have earned my trust for life, and I wouldn’t take my furry children anywhere else. 🐾💙

I was in a pinch for a health certificate for my dog with a very small window to make it happen and they pulled through. Everyone I interacted with was so kind, understanding and helpful . They were familiar with what I needed and worked with me to meet the Airlines requirement in the letter, with a very quick turn around. I was able to make the flight and had everything I needed with their help. Thanks to the team at the front desk and the vets! I will be returning.
