Had a great visit with my kitty, BayBay. I was seen promptly at my time and Dr. McGowan was great with my cat and set us on a good great pathway to get my cats fleas taken care of. I asked if I could get flea meds through chewy and they even reached out to chewy for me to fill the prescription on their end. Parking! There’s parking for the building around the corner. They do validate for an hour so it’s totally free. Definitely recommend this clinic and Dr. Robert McGowan.

i am so impressed after my first visit with modern animal! as a first time cat owner i was super nervous, but the whole team was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and reassuring. my tiny baby didn’t even notice her vaccines going in! special shoutout to ashley, sue, and dr. katelyn harrington for such a calm and pleasant visit, you guys are absolute superstars!

I recently switched to this location, and I’m so glad that I did. Staff here truly cares. Vet tech Sabrina went above and beyond to make my cat feel comfortable. She comforted him, played with him, pet him, and even helped him into the car afterward. Her kindness and compassion really stood out. Dr. Han took the time to listen carefully to my concerns and review my cat’s history. I really appreciated their holistic approach to his health and the way they kept his comfort in mind throughout the visit. I had a wonderful experience and feel very confident in the care they provide, even for drop-off appointments. Highly recommend!

We’ve had such a positive experience with Modern Animal DTLA, especially with my dog, Nolan. From day one, the team has been incredibly patient and intentional about making sure he never has a negative vet experience. They move at his pace, explain everything clearly, and create a calm environment that makes him feel safe and comfortable during visits. That means a lot to me as an owner. Nolan can be sensitive, and they’ve always handled him with care, kindness, and professionalism. You can tell they genuinely care about building trust with their patients — not just getting through appointments quickly. Because of that approach, Nolan is relaxed when we go in, and I feel confident knowing he’s in good hands. We’re really grateful to have found a vet team that prioritizes long-term positive experiences. Highly recommend Modern Animal DTLA.

We had a wonderful experience! The care team is warm, friendly and supportive. My sweetest girl in the world had her first well-visit appointment of the new year and I wanted to find a new Veterinarian Clinic because I was officially done with our last Vet because they always left a bad taste in my mouth, so it is refreshing to finally find a care team with top tier compassion and warmth. They even brought in equipment into our room so that I can be there to offer her comfort and support while being poked and prodded. She was stressed for sure and inhaled 3 whole Churu’s bc…NERVES! but she did so well and was such a good-good girl. I look forward to a happy and healthy year and beyond with them.
