Camellia Coffee Roasters is named after Sacramento’s city flower, the camellia, and they also support the local Camellia Society. They started out as a wholesale coffee roaster in Sacramento before opening their own café. I tried their signature Horchata Cold Brew and really enjoyed it. The sweetness was just right and not overpowering, making it a great drink for a hot summer day. They’re also known for their breakfast sandwiches. The eggs were super fluffy and cooked perfectly. The café has high ceilings, good airflow, and a beautiful mural on the wall. The vibe is modern with an industrial feel. Parking is easy with free street parking nearby. A fun bonus: they have a claw machine where you can try your luck and win a coffee or breakfast sandwich. Hours: 7 AM–4 PM daily.

We just moved into the area and came across this wonderful coffee shop. I had a cortado and my wife had an iced tea. Both flavorful and strong. The prices were vert reasonable. We'll have to return and try the pastries. Great midtown vibe. I'm assuming the name is a nod to Sacramento's history. It once claimed to be the camellia capital of the world with a huge festival every year.

i got a brown sugar + agave latte half sweet with oat milk and it was good, nothing special about it, it tasted how i expected it to be. my friend got an ice horchata cold brew with extra cold brew to make it less sweet but it kinda diluted it and he rates it a 3.5/5. we also got a veggie sandwich 4/5 it was warm and the buns were very fresh and the sauce was good too. i would get it again but its a little overpriced. they also have a arcade machine to gamble your chances of getting a free coffee ($1 to play). plenty of seating! went on a Tuesday so not crowded.

Good food. They need more people on a register. Only 1 person while it’s busy? Come on Also out of bagels by I don’t know when. We arrived at 11:30am No big sign to say there was no bagel. So waited in line for additional 30mins to find that out.

I had to give a shout out to this special place for the warm and welcoming hospitality, clean, beautiful decor, amazing coffees and delicious snacks we all enjoyed following our kiddos civil ceremony across the street at the Quitman Courthouse! The owner was so accommodating of our party of 7 and the space was so pretty on a dreary winter day! We were so blessed to find this magical little spot and would highly recommend for a few minutes of peace and amazing niblets and coffee! Thank you Camelia Coffee for being the cherry on top!
