For a place to eat or drink, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open now, how long is the wait at peak hours, and does the menu suit the group you are bringing. American restaurants typically run lunch and dinner services with a quieter stretch in between, coffee shops open early, and many kitchens close earlier on Sunday. Cards and tap-to-pay are accepted almost everywhere, a tip of 15-20% is customary for table service, and sales tax is added at the register.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 7 am–7 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (916) 692-9285. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Traffic in Sacramento peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. It’s so beautiful, the worker complimented me and she was so nice, the drinks were so good! I got the strawberry matcha late 😋 thank you so much for your service!

I ordered a mocha and loved it. Cute store, gave me grandma decor vibes.. Had to ask help finding it because I couldn’t figure out which door. I had a stroller and all the near by entry ways had stairs but I explored and found a door with a ramp in the entry in the parking lot.

This is a fantastic coffee shop inside the Clara building. They have smoothies, tea, coffee and yummy food. They also have a large gift shop with unique presents for both kids and adults. Highly recommend!

I really like this place. I've been here numerous times and it just feels comfortable. I like all the things that they have to look at and the books that they have and the things for writing and the journals and the curious things people who imagine a slower life would like to get involved with. Their pastries are very good they're coffee is well made and I always receive good service there. The people who go there are a comfortable crowd and it just feels like a nice place to pass some time.

Food: 3/5 Drinks: 4/5 Service: 2/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 I’ll preface this by saying I will be going back mainly because of the cozy, inviting atmosphere. I’ve ordered the grey earl matcha and flat whites on all three visits, and they’ve been consistently good, though I can’t speak to the rest of the drink menu. The flavor options are fairly limited, which was a bit disappointing. I asked about lavender and hazelnut on different occasions and they didn’t have either. I’ve also been getting the avocado focaccia toast with prosciutto, which has been consistently good. On my most recent visit, the focaccia was slightly burnt, but still enjoyable overall. My main downside has been the service. On two out of three visits, it wasn’t very welcoming. Not terrible, but there was no greeting or thank you, just quiet interactions behind the counter, which affected the overall experience. I also noticed some minor cleanliness issues, such as dirty dishware, which took away from an otherwise nice setting. That said, the atmosphere is truly lovely, and I’m hopeful future visits will improve on both service and attention to detail.
