San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Francisco follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Great place to reflect on life with an awesome view of the city. Can be windy so, as always, wear layers.

Easy hike with steps going up the trail. Relatively short hike with panoramic views of the city, including the downtown San Francisco skyline. Some free parking is available on the street in the neighborhood. (Remember to read the street cleaning signs so you don't get a ticket.) There's a dog park on the side as you enter the hiking trail so be aware, in case you're allergic to or scared of dogs (or if there's dog poop near or on the trail). Dogs must stay on leash, except in the dog park area.

Definitely worth the climb up to the summit. Try to get there before sunset so as to enjoy the golden hour over the San Francisco skyline.

Go early for sunrise! Quick hike up, and very few people there. Great place to enjoy the quiet awakening of the city.

It's definitely a different vibe compared to the other parks around the area. This one's mainly made up of an orange/brown rock along with sand. You can still see a nice view of the city and surrounding areas. Summit is pretty cool.
