San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Francisco follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Huge park with plenty of meandering, interconnected paths perfect for going on a morning run, walking your pets or to just get away from everyone/everything for a while. The trails are paved and surrounded by trees & well maintained hedges/bushes. Thete are so many short cuts and secret walkways its almost like a huge maze. Its located on a pretty steep hill if entering from the Sacremento St side. The whole park is huge but its a little easier of a walk from the Gough St side in between Clay and Washington St. If you want to get to the playground easily Id refomend entering from Washington St and Laguna/Octavia. Very well maintained and really nice playground with picnic areas surrounding it. If you walk a little further up the hill to the very top in the center of the park you'll find a massive picknic area with benches, tables, etc. I havent explored the whole part but every time I go there I find a new cutty trail or an entire part of the park I never knew about.

I visit this park whenever I’m in San Francisco. It’s quiet, hilly, and offers some of the best views in the city. The surrounding homes are a treat for anyone interested in architecture, too. Tons of dogs enjoy their playtime here. Filmore Street is just nearby, so grab a coffee there and stroll over to enjoy this cute park.

Beautiful park with lots of space and activities for tiny tots and older kids. There’s a coffee cart nearby which is really nice πŸ’• my daughter enjoyed it!

Lafayette Park is absolutely heavenly β€” peaceful, well-kept, and offering a lovely panoramic view of the city. As a birder, I was delighted by the diversity of birds here. It’s such a calming place to slow down and simply observe.

I’m visiting SF and found Lafayette Park. It’s such a lovely and peaceful spot! The park is very clean and well taken care of. I loved the dog park and the playground for kids. There are also tennis courts if you want to play. It wasn’t too crowded, so I could just relax and enjoy the fresh air. It’s also in a nice neighborhood in the city.
