This is my second time visiting this park in SF, and I’ve got to say, it’s probably one of my favorite spots in the city. I absolutely love the gorgeous downtown views, and it’s such a great place to bring a picnic and just hang out. There always seems to be something going on here too. The last time I visited, there was salsa dancing happening, which was so fun to watch! It’s just one of those places where you can come to chill, read, people-watch, play, walk your dog, or just enjoy the outdoors. There’s always a good vibe here, and I’ll definitely be back!

Great experience lounging on the lawn of mission Dolores park. It was beautiful day Sunday and it was pretty lively. Perfect weekend capstone. If you're in town, bring a blanket and your favorite book. Pups welcome.

Magical park, love coming here. Fun place to lay out, and/or have a picnic with friends. Love getting some ice cream down the street, although there are vendors with small carts of food or drinks, even ice cream that circle the park. Windows of cars parked close by are known to get broken.

If you want to see the stunning view of San Francisco skyline then this is the place. It has lush green landscaped lawns. Slope green grass sitting area. People come here for leisure and bring their pets for walks. A nice place for spending leisure time. Well connected by city MUNI (J).

Dolores Park is a tour de force of everything that San Francisco is. It’s an amalgamation of different cultures, walks of life, and styles from all over the world uniting to enjoy the San Francisco sunshine. Even before you enter, you’ll smell something delicious cooking, likely with bacon, from somewhere inside the boundaries of the park. There’s a dedicated children’s section, so kiddos will definitely have something to do while the adults are occupied. There are frequently events and groups gathering, and the vibe is always one of appreciation and understanding. The park is massive, so you can find a place to set down and claim your own little piece on any given afternoon. If you want to people watch or grab a delicious bite, then the weekend is the right time to visit.
