I normally I’m not somebody who leaves reviews, but I actually really wanted to leave a review. I have gone to so many different emergency rooms over the last few months dealing with some chronic pain and this emergency room staff from the check-in people to the actual nurses into the doctors were so nice and kind and even a bit fun, which was so helpful whenever you’re coming in for something that can be stressful. I would like to say that the process was easy. My labs were returned in a very quick in orderly fashion, and I felt like the people that were caring for me actually cared about me. If I need to go back to an emergency room It will absolutely be this one. Thanks.🀍

I’ve been here a lot of times before. There’s a lot of improvements that need admin attention. Sanitation throughout the premises. Service. ER staff alertness and mindfulness. Paging system (Should it really be fixed on the patient’s head?). And please fix THE CEILING TILES! ER nurses just do things to you without even explaining to usβ€” their victims! I wish they get trained correctly about this. It’s just infuriating that they inject anything to one’s body!

The 3-hour wait in the freezing waiting room, when I was presenting with cardiac symptoms, was ridiculous. I finally asked if I’d been forgotten, and within two minutes a tech came to draw my labs. I’m a retired nurse, so I understand there will be waits, especially if there’s a high volume of ambulance cases that get priority. I was shivering with cold and illness, but was told people don’t get warm blankets in the waiting room. When I was finally called back, my brisk nurse dug around in my right hand and my right inner arm, extremely painfully, and could not get IV access. I requested someone else and another nurse came and put the needle in painlessly with success on her first try. Later, when I was unhooked from the monitors to use the restroom, my nurse failed to reattach me to the machine and its alarm beeped for over an hour until I finally got up and silenced it myself. She was very inattentive. The restroom was very unclean with fresh feces on the floor in four places and puddles of liquid resembling urine. I reported it and hope it was cleaned up sooner than later. The techs were very kind and attentive. The porter, Mufasa (sp) should get a very big raise! He was so ki
