Stayed for business. Overall, this wasn’t my favorite Hyatt Place location. The hotel looks nice, but there were several small issues throughout my stay that added up. The breakfast was especially disappointing, with limited quality and selection. That said, considering the price, it may still offer decent value if you’re looking for a reasonably priced option in downtown San Jose.

Not a luxury hotel, but 5 stars for comfort, location and service. Shout out to Nick at the front desk, though all were great. Breakfast was quite generous, especially considering it was free. Eggs, sometimes omelettes, bacon or sausage, french toast, cereals,yogurt, oatmeals, selection of breads, whole fruit. Walkable.

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 Star) I am extremely disappointed with my experience. This company engaged in what felt like false advertising regarding the room price. I specifically asked the representative twice to confirm the total cost because this reservation was for an important business trip that had been booked months in advance. I was assured of one price, only to be charged something completely different. To make matters worse, the customer service was terrible. When I asked to speak with a manager to resolve the issue, the representative refused to transfer me. Instead of trying to help or honor the price I was quoted, they made the situation even more frustrating. Customers deserve honest pricing and respectful service. If you’re advertising a room at a certain rate, you should honor that rate. I expected professionalism, especially for a reservation made well in advance, but unfortunately, that was not my experience. I would not recommend staying here based on the misleading pricing and poor customer service.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would absolutely return. While the rooms are a little dated in terms of décor, they were clean, comfortable, and had everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Service was excellent from check-in to check-out. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the experience feel seamless and stress-free. The location is unbeatable as it is right downtown and within easy walking distance of the SAP Center, Performing Arts Centre, Children’s Museum, or the river walk making it perfect for whatever you’re looking for. The continental breakfast had solid options, including fresh fruit, which was a great way to start the day. There’s also a bar lounge area with a few selections on tap as well as various wines & cocktails, making it easy to unwind in the evening. Overall, a fantastic stay with great service, a prime location, and everything you need for a comfortable visit.
