This is definitely a hidden gem in San Diego. I enjoy it each time I go (four times now). The $10 price is the best deal in the county. Where else can you see the first automobile ever built (1885 Benz) and also the upgraded 1895 Benz and so many more old cars from the early 20th century? But so much more besides cars, like Edison recording devices, a working Wurlitzer organ from a carousel, an old telephone switchboard, old model trains, old buggies, old dolls and tools and cameras. Do yourself a favor and go visit this treasure while you still can. And don’t be afraid to ask questions because the answers will be so interesting and entertaining.

10,000 sq ft museum of history collected over the years by its namesake. $10 pp entrance fee and well worth it! Took my 95 year old MiL and we enjoyed so many items she remembered from her youth. Worth at least 2 hours to see everything. β™Ώ There are 2 HC parking spots out front, about 100 ft away. Highly recommend this "hidden" gem!

What an awesome place! Lots of vintage cars here from 1895 to 1914 or so. I would guess this one of the largest collections of cars of this era in the San Diego area. Also, a collection of model trains, cameras, dolls, irons for clothes, and much more. Visiting this museum is like a journey back in time.

2023: hidden in plain sight on Park Blvd in Universiry Hts. Lots of vintage cars, maybe 30, and I mean really vintage. $10 entry. They also have collections of trains, cameras, clocks as well as other things. The lighting could have been better they tend to store extraneous stuff in the back seats if the cars. This is mom and pop level shop. Positive experience though because they have a very unique collection of vehicles.
