For a place to eat or drink, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open now, how long is the wait at peak hours, and does the menu suit the group you are bringing. American restaurants typically run lunch and dinner services with a quieter stretch in between, coffee shops open early, and many kitchens close earlier on Sunday. Cards and tap-to-pay are accepted almost everywhere, a tip of 15-20% is customary for table service, and sales tax is added at the register.

The listed phone number is (619) 269-9036. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is juniperandivy.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 2,771 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded restaurants in San Diego.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The best Miso Black Cod I've eaten. Perfect balance of savory with a hint of sweetness. The broth was perfect. The House Sourdough was also top-notch (flaky outside, soft interior, butter was delicious). Also tried the three cheese tortellini which was delicious. We were impressed with the Chef's inquiry on how he can improve the dishes. We didnt like one and they immediately replaced it. Lovely staff with a nice ambiance. Must try!

The staff are really exceptional here. The restaurant has its own Sommelier, Dan. If you visit this place, make sure to ask for his recommendations. Ambience wise, this place has a fantastic decorative design. The food was very straightforward to order with everyone enjoying their dishes. Even seemingly ordinary dishes like the chicken were spot on and very tender. For parking, I recommend you use the valet here. It made getting in and out of the restaurant very easy.

Food was ok. Restaurant had good bright lighting. Recommend: Miso cod and sourdough were the best out of all the dishes we ordered. Cake was pretty unique. Ok dishes: The duck was decent, but the sauce is a bit generic and fried rice was too salty. Pork belly skewer was good. Summer melon had a lot of alcohol flavor to it, so it’s better to eat it in small bites with the dried tuna. Don’t recommend: Shrimp Thai salad too salty. Sauce tastes like something I would expect from Panda Express. Conclusion: Nothing really jumped me…

Great time here. Sat at the counter next to the pass line with the sous expediting. Service knowledgeable and friendly. Sommelier Dan(I think)did a good job helping out with the burgundy-heavy list. Great flavor combos. A tiny bit of sweetness in most dishes. Nice room, not too noisy. Go if you can.

Jupiter and Ivy was such a beautiful spot in Little Italy β€” modern design paired with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The menu had so many great options, perfect for sharing and tasting a little bit of everything. From small bites to the fish, duck, and steak, everything we tried was absolutely delicious and very well done. I also loved the cocktails β€” beautifully presented with exotic flavors that made the whole experience even better. We celebrated three birthdays during our Taurus month, which made the evening feel even more special. Definitely a place worth experiencing. #littleitaly #sandiego #jupiterandivy #birthdaycelebration #taurusseason #foodie #cocktails #finedining #sandiegofoodie #celebration #modernrestaurant #goodvibes #delicious #friendsandfamily
