I attended a conference at the JW Marriott, but I was not part of the planning team, so I can't say whether every issue was the responsibility of the hotel or the conference organizers. Some of these observations could have been due to event planning rather than the venue itself. That said, here's my experience as an attendee. The standout positive was the buffet and meal service. The buffet was well stocked, and the staff working the meals were consistently kind, efficient, and kept everything moving. They deserve recognition. The only downside was that there wasn't much directional help or traffic control during meal times, so it got confusing. The biggest challenge was navigating the conference. The room numbering and layout of the hotel made very little sense—for example, Studio 1 could be next to Studio 5 while Studio 3 was on an entirely different level. Combined with confusing hotel maps, limited and poor signage, and terrible directions, it often took longer than it should have to find your way around. Additionally, there was active construction taking place in the middle of the lobby throughout the conference. It was loud and difficult to ignore, and i was informed that

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. First time in the states & honestly couldn’t wish to be staying in a better hotel. The rooms are very comfortable & the beds are so cozy. The bar downstairs is great & wonderful for any live sport that you want & the staff in the entire hotel are so friendly & hospitable. Shoutout to Brandon & Michael behind the bar & Miguel at reception! Just a few examples of the great people working at this hotel that made my stay even better! Really hope to come back at some stage in the future. 10/10.

We stayed at the JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE for one night while in Los Angeles to attend the Stanley Cup Playoffs game between the Los Angeles Kings and the Colorado Avalanche, and it was an excellent choice. The location is unbeatable, just a short and easy walk to the Crypto.com Arena, which made getting to and from the game incredibly convenient. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out. The valet parking staff was very helpful and welcoming. They also offered to store our luggage since we arrived early and weren’t sure if our room would be ready yet. As it turned out, we didn’t need that option, the front desk staff went above and beyond to get us checked in early. The associate who helped us was especially kind and personable, and she even took the time to give us clear directions on how to walk to the arena. Our room had an amazing view overlooking the Los Angeles skyline, which added a special touch to our stay. Even though there was some construction going on in the lobby, the hotel still maintained a luxurious and upscale feel throughout. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I would absolutely stay here again, especially for any events at the arena
