I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The location was super close to the venue that I needed to be by without being stuck in traffic forever. I loved the building inside and out, it’s very modern and clean. The location is good and safe, but not at night, and there’s nothing to walk to and eat at around there except 7-11 down the street and some little Mexican shops. The building and parking garage are secured so I felt very safe. The gentleman at the front desk that just started working there was so amazing!! He was very personable, talkative and kind! Always checking in on me when I walked by. I appreciated that. The room was perfect for one night stay. I love that it has a fridge and a noise machine in there, lots of little shelves to put things on and the bathroom has enough towels, make up wipes, tissue, TP, body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Not much lighting but I just turned all the lights on. Sadly my view was of the apartment building next to me with their windows facing mine so I kept my blinds closed. You can hear the traffic a bit but it’s not too crazy if you get a room away from it. I did notice that you can hear everyone’s doors closed really loudly so

Everything you need, and nothing that you don’t. One of the cleanest, clutter-free hotels I’ve stayed in. Ikea-grade desks and fixtures, but I take that this is a one-off boutique hotel, and not a chain purchasing volumes of the same items. Safe area, just off of a busy thoroughfare. It’s a total dead zone though, nothing really happening in the area. Be prepared to drive or make multiple connections on transit. 20 minute relatively quiet walk downtown.

I enjoyed my stay enormously. The staff was friendly from the moment of my arrival, and helpful all the way through. My first impression on entering the building was the smell. It was fabulous and stayed fabulous through the whole property! Parking was easy and everything felt very safe. I enjoyed being in a “real” neighborhood. The view of the city skyline from my room was amazing. The room itself was perfectly clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. And, an ironing board was ready for me as requested. The ONLY thing I’d change, and it really was a very small thing, would be the range of tv channels. I will happily stay here on any future trips!

This was my second stay at The Metric and I will absolutely stay again. Perfect hotel for me and my needs: modern, absolutely spotlessly clean, no-nonsense and yet super comfortable, simple and sincere. The staff are unobtrusive and yet there when you need them; i’d forgotten toothpaste, and after a quick text message it was hanging in a bag on my doorknob before I knew it. It’s a quick Uber ride to anywhere you want to go and there are several really great places to eat within walking distance. I love this hotel.
