I just keep coming back to Kensington Nails! The whole team are so friendly, I typically visit for GelX and am always so happy with the results! Have been to see Leo and Sam, they have always done a great job! Always call ahead as they are unsurprisingly always busy! I called on a Saturday and they fit me in in the next hour :)

loved everything except for my manicure, it was a regular manicure and unfortunately started chipping next day. I did reach out and they weren’t able to do anything. I would still try again - I think the lady who did my hands was just grump that day and maybe rushed too much. I had a different lady do my gel pedicure, Angel, and she did amazing. Angel was so detailed and kind - I will definitely be coming again for her. Angel also made me the best Vietnamese coffee ever!

I always have the best experience at Kensington nails. Kate and the crew know how to run a fantastic business. Free drink and snacks with service. Today I got hard gel fill with pale yellow chrome curtesy of Mimi! Love this place

I have gone here consistently for the past year and have lived in San Diego for almost 10 years and this is easily the best nail salon in San Diego. No matter who you get, you will be satisfied with your nails, and if you’re not, which has only happened to me once, they make it beyond right for you. The other thing I really appreciate is they’re loyal to their appointments and don’t prioritize walk-ins or overbook which is what has made me leave other salons. Overall, an amazing and extremely friendly salon. Couldn’t recommend it more! (Sorry yall, I bite my cuticles so I do not take nail pics except the night I got engaged.)

I’ve been looking for a nail salon that actually cares about the quality and aesthetic of the services they produce. Nail artists here TAKE PRIDE in creating a beautiful and long lasting set. They have so much skill here, I’m so appreciative that they care enough to give their clients a warranty on nails. Notably, Josephine is one of the receptionists and is super accommodating with appointments and gets back to clients quickly. She ensured I was taken care of the entire time and checked in with me frequently while Alex worked on crafting a beautiful hard gel nail set for me! So appreciative that they take the time to make the set look good, you probably won’t find better service or nail aesthetic than Kensington. Wish I could gatekeep this place.
