San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Francisco follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Our dinner was unexpectedly exceptional. We could taste the freshness of the ingredients and were really just blown away by the presentation, flavors, and overall quality of the meal. Outstanding, would love to come back if in the Bay Area again!

Mayaflor is extremely underrated. If you find yourself waiting in line at MyMy across the street, do yourself a favor and head over to Mayaflor instead — you won’t be disappointed. The breakfast burrito here is top-tier. They don’t include potatoes inside the burrito, which I typically like, but it didn’t matter. To drive this point home, my husband looked up mid-bite and said, “This burrito is spectacular.” Everything on the menu looks amazing. As soon as you walk in, you’re welcomed and greeted with warm smiles and a graciousness that makes you feel right at home. The service is excellent all the way through. The only reason I gave atmosphere four stars is that the space could be a bit cozier and offer a bit more character to equally match the quality of the service and food. But I’d still come back here either way.

Just found out Mayaflor is open for dinner and I have been missing out. The food is fantastic and they were able to customize the seafood mix. The chicha morada was also phenomenal.

Amazing Peruvian–Mexican fusion! 🌟 The service was exceptional, and don’t even get me started on the food. We had the pisco sours, café de olla, and pan con chicharrón—everything was absolutely delicious. Super yummy and definitely a must-try!

Maya Flor needs to stay around forever! I rarely write reviews, but this place slaps so hard I forced myself to make an exception. This is an incredible new Peruvian / Mexican inspired restaurant. I've now had the pleasure of trying both their brunch and dinner menus, and while both were excellent, dinner was truly something special. Their ceviche was vibrant, fresh, and bursting with authentic Peruvian flavors. Another standout is the paella. I don’t say this lightly, but it may be the best paella I’ve ever had (and I've been to Spain a couple times). Perfectly cooked rice, deeply flavorful, and just loaded with the kind of care and seasoning that assures you the chef knows what they're doing. On top of that, the service is warm, attentive, and genuine. The owners are incredibly kind and clearly passionate about what they’re creating here, which just adds to the charm and heart behind every dish. Maya Flor is a hidden gem, but it won't be hidden for long. Whether you’re a local or someone who appreciates great food and doesn’t mind making a bit of a trip, come here. Run, don’t walk. Selfishly, I hope this place thrives for years to come because I plan on eating here a lot. Lo
