When booking a hotel or travel service in the United States, confirm the check-in window, parking fees, resort fees and whether breakfast is included before you arrive; many properties add taxes and fees on top of the quoted rate. Reviews that mention noise, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Prices swing sharply around holidays, spring break, conventions and local events, so book early for those dates.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I didn't get the notification from Amtrak until I was on the shuttle to Bakersfield so the train service housed me overnight. The smell of curry wasn't pleasant at all. The train initially needed a fuel pump and the service was canceled. I was not too happy as the hotel was a bit rundown and definitely needed a makeover. But I was grateful for the prepaid room. .

The staff at the front desk were very nice and accommodating. If you need a little extra time past the checkout time of 12 PM, they will allow you to stay for free up to 1 PM. Keep in mind that this is a budget hotel and itβs not the Ritz Carlton. Itβs safe and secure. I would not go out after dark. Itβs safe to walk around in the daytime. Itβs a convenient six minute walk from the Los Angeles Union train station. The beds were very hard and extremely firm. Itβs advisable to wear earplugs when you sleep because the early morning traffic can be very loud. The room was comfortable and clean.

I am a college student who booked this hotel for spring break. Obviously, I didnβt want to spend a lot of money, so I chose the least expensive hotel in LA that looked trustworthy. I felt very safe while staying IN the hotel. The area it is in unfortunately doesnβt feel safe. There is a large homeless presence within a few blockβs radius, and I wouldnβt recommend taking a leisurely stroll at the darkest times of night. That being said, you can easily walk 5 minutes to better areas. The upside about the location is Olvera Street nearby. This street has amazing Mexican food and shops, for those interested. As expected when booking, the rooms are not modern. However, they are very clean and get the job done. They show wear and tear, but it is evident that the staff makes an effort to keep everything sanitary and clean (most of the damage/marks on furniture and surfaces isnβt a sanitary/health concern). My ONLY complaint is that the outlets were lackluster and inconveniently placed. Iβm not the type of person to be extra picky about front desk and cleaning services. All I have to say is that it was great service. I would book again. Just hope your neighbor isnβt the type of person
