Booked it for a week. Very enjoyable! Located in the heart of Downtown, a lot of things are in walking distance! (Didn’t take the car out at all) Hospitality is great! The cleaning ladies (very nice, eager to work) and employees (very professional). Attached bathrooms (shower and bathtub) should be a norm in ALL hotels. Love the beds! Beautiful architecture! Even though i stayed on the 10th floor by myself, knowing that this place is “haunted”, it was very peaceful stay.

Beautiful hotel! All the common spaces are gorgeous. There are photos of multiple TV shows and movies filmed there. The bar and restaurant are lovely and easily acceptable. The hotel's location is also fantastic - easy access to various restaurants and the highway. Check in was easy and the staff were welcoming. The rooms are decent size for being an older hotel. The bathroom is tiny though. Lack of decent ventilation causes the bathroom to steam up quickly. The bathroom could use updating - dingy tub, weak fan, and no real storage space for toiletries. The room itself is better maintained although the windows need repainting and there's a few tears in the curtains. Tip: For parking I paid with Spot Hero - a garage just one block away was half the price of the hotel. It also allowed in/out privileges so I could easily access my car.

I want to start with the service, because I honestly can’t remember the last time I experienced service as exceptional as what Jose provided. He truly guided us through the hotel, sharing its history and explaining the value and significance of the property. He was extremely helpful, kind, and informative. If I could give a ten stars to Jose, I absolutely would. Thank you again, Jose, for your beautiful service. It really made our experience special. The hotel itself is stunning. You can feel its history the moment you walk in. Being more than a hundred years old, it carries so much character and beauty. Knowing that so many movies and stars have been part of its story only adds to its charm. It’s simply exceptional. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Los Angeles, which makes everything very convenient. They also provide parking and valet service, which makes a big difference when staying downtown. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Even the small details, like the quality of the shampoo and soap, show that they care. Overall, we had a very positive experience, and I would absolutely recommend staying here.
