American restaurants typically run lunch and dinner services with a quieter stretch in between, coffee shops open early, and many kitchens close earlier on Sunday. Cards and tap-to-pay are accepted almost everywhere, a tip of 15-20% is customary for table service, and sales tax is added at the register.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Finally got around to trying this place and im kicking myself for waiting so long. The falafel was crispy on the outside and so soft inside, honestly the best Ive had in a while. I got the combo plate and it was a huge portion, easily fed me lunch and dinner. The guy behind the counter was really nice and even threw in some extra pita without me asking. definitely going back soon, everything was just super fresh and flavorful.

Mimaβs Mediterranean is a great lunch spot in the DTLA Jewelry District. The food is fresh, flavorful, and tastes homemade, with amazing Mediterranean options like shawarma, kebabs, hummus, salads, and healthy plates. Everything I tried tasted clean, fresh, and well-prepared, and the location itself is clean and welcoming. Itβs a perfect place for a healthy, satisfying lunch in St. Vincent Court, with great taste, good portions, and friendly service. Definitely a spot I would recommend in downtown LA!

Best fattoush salad I've had in LA, and don't skip the lentil soup! Incredible service and chill tucked away vibes in the heart of downtown.

I went here with a group of coworkers on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch (~12pm). Surprisingly, at that time, it wasn't busy. This is a very tiny hole-in-the-wall restaurant that isn't found on the main street of LA. Inside the restaurant is small, so they have tables outside. There is a lot of shade, so it's pleasant to sit outside. Parking, however, could be a hassle if you drive here. The tables are located on the street and near the parking lot. Meaning, it felt like a car could hit a table if it got out of control. I ordered the combo plate (~$16 at the time of this writing). They gave us extra pita bread because our party was pretty big. Everything tasted fresh and home made. The kebabs were sizzling hot right off the grill. The salad was seasoned and crunchy. The hummus wasn't as flavorful or beany tasting, but I preferred it that way because everything else had flavor. The rice balanced any overwhelming flavor. I'm typically picky and if I find a Mediterranean food that's good, I just stick with that and don't try anything else until someone else recommends or invites me out to eat. Having said that, I would definitely return here. Summary: - CLEANLINESS. Clean. They place

Nice small restaurant at the end of Saint Vincentβs Court. Good food. Good service. Friendly staff. Sitting outside provides a nice downtown vibe. Prices are reasonable and the food quality is true arab/middle eastern. I would come back. We got the kabob plate, taboolah, and sea bass.
