Steak was great, lobster was even better. The bread is amazing. Sides lacked a little, au gratin potatoes were under cooked and the creamed spinach was bland. The creme brulee was perfect. The atmosphere was very nice, a little too dark. Overall, it made for a great birthday dinner. I have to say that our server Jenny, she was THE BEST!!!

Dinner for five to celebrate my nephew‘s 21st birthday. The dining room was very elegant and the staff was extremely friendly. We didn’t have a big drawnout meal, but we did have some delicious appetizers steaks and a few side dishes. They had a nice selection of wine, but we stuck to a few glasses instead of a bottle. We were not rushed and well taken care of the entire time we were there. It was also very nice to see local restauranteur Carmen at the helm. I ordered the 12 ounce fillet with a side of blue cheese, butter and horseradish, cream sauce, the cream, spinach, and potatoes au gratin with bacon were also very delightful. Everyone enjoyed their meal and my nephew had a fantastic birthday dinner.

Went for the Power Hour after watching a concert nearby. The Bar Bites are only available at the bar. What we ordered was really very tasty. Smash Burger Sliders and the Parmesan Truffle Matchstick fries and of course some wine. The amount of fries that you get for $8 was amazing. There was so much that we shared them with someone sitting next to us at the bar. Aimee the bartender was very friendly and good! This is a popular restaurant as the bar area got really packed.

I had the best dining experience while visiting San Jose, and it all happened at Morton’s. The entire evening was exceptional — from the warm, attentive service to the elevated atmosphere and, of course, the unforgettable food. Their Power Hour is easily one of the best Happy Hour menus I’ve seen. I ordered the Shrimp Louie wedge bites, smash burger sliders, and the parmesan truffle matchstick fries — every dish was flavorful, perfectly prepared, and surprisingly generous for Happy Hour. A special shoutout to the Assistant GM Jazz, who offered fantastic food suggestions and spot‑on wine pairings. His hospitality truly elevated the experience and made the visit feel curated and memorable. I highly recommend stopping in for Power Hour — I know I’ll be going back.

My first unimpressive feeling as I walked through the door was the dim light ambiance of the restaurant. It was too dark that we even had to use our phone flashlight to read the menu. We saw a few other tables did the same thing. Secondly, the restaurant was quite loud because of the low ceiling. Luckily, we have a great server, who was super busy managing a few tables at a time, but he was very patient and attentive to all the diners. Food was good, but not great due to the inconsistency of the salt. Our tomahawk was tender, but the saltiness was uneven. The best dish was the aged porterhouse, which was perfectly cooked to our taste and medium rare request. I wasn't impressed with my sangria, but my husband did enjoy his old-fashioned whiskey. We had an rsvp on a quiet Saturday evening, and the parking was easy to find on the street. Unfortunately, my family wouldn't want to go back to Morton's anytime soon. Fleming's Steakhouse is still winning our hearts.
