The place is nice the services nice I was there maybe like a 2 months ago and I paid a reasoning price now because it's a high season and they have the Comic-Con or whatever the price went triple so that's the only problem besides that the place is okay

The room, service was great just the location is hard to get in and out since very compacted street. the bed was comfortable but hard wires stick out on the left and right rides of the bed.

Be cautious when booking at Motel 6 – San Diego, CA Southbay, especially if you reserve through Booking.com. I had a very disappointing experience this weekend after reserving a room for my girlfriend. Even though the reservation was confirmed, she was denied the room upon arrival and told she would have to pay the full price directly at the motel. When I contacted the motel manager, Melecio, to request a full refund for the original reservation, he denied the request, stating that because the booking was through Booking.com, he couldn’t assist. He also said the room was not provided because I was not physically present, despite the fact that I had emailed the property multiple times through Booking.com to notify them that my girlfriend would be arriving late in my place. According to Melecio, he “cannot answer Booking emails directly,” which made communication nearly impossible. My girlfriend arrived late at night and was still refused her room, even though I had reached out beforehand. Good Value for the Price, with a Few Trade-Offs I recently stayed at Motel 6 South Bay for two nights, and for the price, it was honestly a solid deal. The location isn’t the greatest—expect to hear police sirens here and there throughout the night—but if you’re just looking for an affordable place to rest, it does the job. The room itself was surprisingly clean and well-kept. Not sure if it was newly remodeled or just cleaned exceptionally well by the staff, but either way, it felt fresh and tidy inside. Definitely better than I expected from the outside. There are food options nearby—In-N-Out, Taco Bell, and Denny’s are all within close range, which was convenient. Overall, I felt safe during my stay and had no issues. It’s not a luxury stay by any means, but if you’re on a budget and don’t mind some urban noise, it’s a decent option. You get what you pay for—and in this case, maybe a little more.
