Horrible experience. Brand new upgraded theater but the contractor and facilities aren't doing their jobs and it has no AC. It was like 90 degrees, a lot of people just left. Why the theater can't get their act together after being open for months is a disgrace. Don't open it until it's ready. Shut it down until then... Hello???

Newly renovated theater has nice aesthetics with better sound quality and new comfortable seats. The AC was particularly nice as well. Our only gripe was the (M/W) restroom signs on either side of the big screen during the movie was super bright and quite annoying.

If you want an inexpensive place to go to the movies with your family and friends, this is it! Snacks are fairly reasonable, considering movie entry is free! FYI, if you tend to run hot, you won't need a jacket. It gets pretty warm in the theater. My only complaint would be, the chairs in the back half of the auditorium have probably been here since the base opened in 1917 😆

I so missed on base movie theaters. I loved this place. Customer service was great and the theater was very clean. The sound and quality of the movie was perfect. The price on the snacks are the best in the state of California. The freshness of the top was was second to none. I will be taking advantage of this theater EVERY DAY while I'm TAD !!! THANK YOU FOR THE AWESOME EXPERIENCE

An excellent place for free movies. The facility is adequate, with a decent movie protection system. There is a large stage between audience and screen. And the seats are very basic, 1900’s style movie seating. The facility sometimes a bit dirty, especially the sticky floor. It’s used for large Command gatherings and some commands don’t clean up after themselves as well as others. There is no charge for movies, just need base access to attend. The location is cool, right next to the piers, making parking a bit difficult at times.
