Regal Edwards Mira Mesa remains my absolute favorite go-to spot for the ultimate cinematic experience in San Diego. Having been there many times, this massive venue seamlessly blends convenience with the best modern premium viewing technology available, from crystal-clear IMAX screens to highly immersive 4DX effects.My recent visits perfectly highlight why this classic theater stands out above the rest. Watching the epic storytelling of The Odyssey on their massive IMAX screen was an incredibly breathtaking experience that completely pulled me into the world. Following that up, the high-flying stunts and fast-paced action of the new Spider-Man film felt absolutely spectacular with their booming, state-of-the-art digital surround sound system.The venue upgrades are highly noticeable. The ultra-plush, highly comfortable premium reclining lounge chairs make sitting through a long blockbuster movie a true luxury. While the concession prices are undoubtedly steep—as expected for any major modern theater—the lines move relatively fast thanks to a welcoming, energetic staff. I wasn’t expecting to be this impressed, but wow… Regal Edwards Mira Mesa did an amazing job with the remodel. I’ve always liked Cinepolis, but after this visit, I honestly think Regal has the better theater experience. The new recliner seats are super comfortable, there’s a lot more room, and I loved having the little table for snacks and drinks. The stadium seating is set up so well that it feels like every seat has a great view. We watched Spider-Man: Brand New Day in RPX 3D, and it was awesome. The picture was crystal clear, the sound was incredible, and it really pulled you into the movie. The theater was clean, the staff was friendly, and the concession stand moved pretty quickly. We grabbed popcorn, chips and queso with jalapeños, and drinks, and everything hit the spot. I’ve been to Cinepolis many times, but after this visit, I’d actually pick Regal Edwards Mira Mesa. The new seating alone makes it worth it, and the whole experience just felt comfortable from the moment we walked in. We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t seen the remodel yet.

It's the movie experience you want to remind you of why you go to the movies. Grand entrance to say the least, I love it so much. Then you get in and they are literally throwing fresh hot buttery popcorn around like it's one of those clubs. Reclining seats in theatre one are so comfy with the slide out table that rotates #sick. Every candy and snack you could want and then some (don't bother with the Cheeto popcorn it's not good) but don't miss on the pretzel icymi. I adore this movie theatre and hope that it can prevail. In Edwards Cinema we trust!!!

I had a great experience at Regal Mira Mesa. The entire theatre was clean and well-maintained—from the lobby and concession area to the auditoriums. The seats were comfortable and in great condition, which made it easy to relax and fully enjoy the movie. The overall atmosphere felt organized and welcoming, and everything ran smoothly. It was a genuinely nice experience, and I would definitely come back to watch another film here.

Nice comfortable seats, some new reclining seats. Amazing surround sound, has 3d and 4d rooms where chairs move a foot or two up, down and tilts left and right, with air shooting by your feet and heads thst can make it exciting or make you motion sickness. Dremamine could take the edge off and prevent motion sickness if needed...
