Cards and tap-to-pay are accepted almost everywhere, a tip of 15-20% is customary for table service, and sales tax is added at the register.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Diego is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I've had this on my "To Try" list for awhile. So glad I finally did! Everything was amazing. The food presentation and flavor profiles were out of this world. Cannot wait to come back and try other dishes! Yummy!

Wow, a friend recommended Peace Pies to us when she knew we were headed to San Diego. What a lovely find. We parked on the street and walked toward the restaurant as airplanes zoomed overhead. As we approached the restaurant, it was as if it opened its loving, green arms up and welcomed us. Soft smiling folks greeted us (staff and guests alike.) We were instantly cocooned inside their plant thriving space. I chose the Loving Lasagna and my husband had the Peaceful Pizza sans βpepperoniβ. We threw in a small order of kale chips. There is a small store with items for to-go along with cookbooks and other gift ideas. We decided to sit outside and though it was close to the street, the noise did intrude, thanks to the plants festooned all around us. A guest had just arrived from Denver and still had her luggage with her because she was excited to try the food here. She had the same relaxed and happy smile across her face as everyone else. The food arrived. We had already scarfed down the kale chips. Addictively good. The ingredients were so fresh each ingredient danced around and landed beautifully. A crunch, a spice, a surprise were all where they needed to be on my tas

Delicious and very healthy completely vegan food. Only down side is that this place is very expensive two items and a smoothie were $55. Quality ingredients and preparation come at a price. Location and environment is one of the most beautiful restaurants Iβve ever had the pleasure of eating at.

This was my first time visiting Peace Pies, and it completely lived up to what I expected. The food was fresh, flavorful, and very filling β everything tasted thoughtfully made and full of life. The service truly stood out. Chaaya was our host and helped us choose the best food for us, taking the time to explain the menu and make great recommendations. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, which made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was relaxed and positive, and you can tell the staff genuinely cares about their food and their guests. Iβll definitely be coming back π±β¨ 2nd time and this place keeps going with great flavors!

Went to Peace Pies for a birthday lunch and it was such a great choice. We had a large group of people who eat really healthy, and they were able to accommodate everyone without any issues, which is not always easy to find. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The quesadillas were a standout, the nachos were loaded and so good, the pesto stuffed mushrooms were delightful and the dessert was next level. Everyone was impressed. The vibe of the place is also amazing. The sign outside is so cool and made the perfect backdrop for a group photo, which was a fun bonus for a birthday celebration. Overall, Peace Pies was the perfect spot for a group lunch, especially if you are looking for delicious food and nourishing food. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it for birthdays or any group gathering.
