Wonderful vegan taqueria in the heart of San Diego. The menu is chock full of exciting vegan options, including a spread of hard to find meats (barbacoa, asadero, etc). The food is reasonably priced and the wait staff was very happy to explain their favorite options. The 14” taco is a particularly fun item if you’re with a group! There are also zany desserts like fried Oreos and churros. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Food experience at Tacotarian was amazing. Ordered veggie enchiladas with hot sauce and the food was delicious. Staff is really helpful and food service is quick. They also have a wide variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drink options which further compliments the food. I will be visiting this place again to explore more dishes.

This place had the best chips and guac I have had outside Mexico. If you can get this right, then it's a clear signal that the place is good. All food tastes amazing and is vegan. The flavors are prominent and the sauces are great. We tried the tacos and burrito and all of them turned out to be great. The portion size is large and the pricing is pretty reasonable. There is plenty of space inside and the staff is super nice. There are lot of cute sitting setups inside the place which makes the vibe really pleasant.

I really enjoyed the esthetics of the restaurant the very moment we entered and the workers were friendly. I’m big on tables being clean if there’s little to no people in the dining area and this spot passed the test. I seen staff clean up immediately after guest left 👍🏼🤩. There’s so much to choose from so we’re definitely coming back when we’re in town visiting. The food was mouth watering. We had the tree tacos with rice & beans (side lettuce dressings included). The asada was our favorite. The chorizo has a kick to it which I loved as well as the mushroom asada 🥰 that we had in the cali burrito which was yummy to the tummy 🥳. The green salsa was great. We had the red one which was a bit spicy but had me still pouring over our tacos and burrito 😳😁. The restrooms were even as stylish as the rest of the restaurant. So cool and so clean 🙌🏼. The only critique was the pricing which was a bit up there in cost. Thanks for having us and sending you and your staff with plenty of blessings and growth 😇👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

the food and service here are great! i love the location and design of the restaurant, and was super excited to try out some new vegan food. they have a very solid menu selection, and i like how many protein options they have. i tried the nachos and the taco platter, which were both delicious! the vegan proteins are very well made, and i thought that the sauces and flavor combinations were very well thought out. personally, my favorite taco that i tried was the plantain taco as it was unique in terms of flavor profile. the guac is also made fresh here and was quite tasty. the food also came out really fast given that there were quite a few people ordering and eating in the restaurant. it was a little bit loud inside the restaurant, but it wasn't crazy or anything. overall, i would definitely recommend tacotarian for some quick service and delicious tacos!
