PA Anh Nguyen (Primary Care) & team/support staff are amazing in that they do their very best to assist, they are courteous, attentive to needs, requests and specific preferences. I have quite a few medical needs and the team has been patient and supportive in scheduling the needed extra appointments and referrals for all of them and most especially PA Anh's kind, supportive and very informed professional approach made me feel cared for as a human being and not just another patient she needed to cyclwle through or force to take medications, treatment plans, etc. She helped provide the options that were available from Perlman Clinic and options to refer out as far as medications and treatments and explored which mifhr be best for my particular case with the specific preferences that I have. She also was very direct about her limiations. I told her I prefer no pharmaceutical medications sonshe did all she could to provide options otherwise and referred me to a variety of specialists to assist me withe specific needs out of her particular range as a primary care provider. My first bad experience here. Had a medical provider attempt to drain a cyst on my arm and she didn’t inspect her tools or realize the needle wasn’t seated all the way on the syringe and the liquid inside it exploded all over me. To top it off, I was told I would be charged one price and instead was charged way more three months after the fact. Will think very carefully about returning, and most likely won’t. Tons of options in San Diego. Don’t recommend.

Switching insurances is very stressful and having such an amazing health care team like Perlman Clinic to be so patient and helpful, really made my experience better. Their timely communication and dedication towards my health was truly appreciated! I felt heard, validated, and absolutely not rushed! They rock!

(Anh Nguyen is a star; Extremely professional and cool headed.) Aloha. Been a Kaiser user my whole life. This was fun, informal, fresh, country vibes. I enjoyed the bilingual receptionist Ms. Valerie who was very professional and kind to a female (me). Ms. Katherine was super sweet and made it feel like home there. The doctor, Dr. Nolan, super Jesus friendly and embodied such a great spirit. This place allowed me to meet a really rad teacher, whom I want to publicly bless as she departs SD, in search of a new journey. God was definitely discussed as I waited in the waiting area. Very tiny office. Seemed like it was a vacant office with the blinds pulled down-- but, I personally loved that. The odd location makes this place feel convenient and very low key at the same time. Please be kind to the staff and Doctor. Thank you Perlman.

One of the most challenging things about obtaining healthcare is timely access to appointments. Perlman is by far the easiest and most convenient healthcare system in this regard. Once you’re an established patient, you can make an appointment at ANY Perlman location (there are many!), and the appointment availability is excellent. They have very convenient office hours that line up with a typical working person’s life, including weekends. It is also very easy to make appointments online and via MyChart, including telehealth. Perlman is bringing healthcare administration into the 21st century with up-to-date tech and forward thinking infrastructure. They have efficient, user friendly tools that make access to care a breeze. Highly recommend!
