The birthday cake we ordered for our mother's birthday is beyond beautiful! The rose colors are just lovely. I've never seen a burnt almond cake look like this. Thank you, Peter's Bakery!

This used to be my go to place for Apple pie because it was good and cheap and not overly sweet. But that is no longer the case. Apple pie. Not bad Bear claw : was ok. No traces of almond flavor or paste. Tastes more like a danish pastry. Chocolate eclairs: I asked for a custard eclairs, got the whipped cream. Sad. Should have checked before leaving the store.

This bakery is legendary. Maybe the prices went up. As they should. But they never waiver on the quality. Each item is sooo delicious 😋 Chocolate eclairs and burnt almond cake💥💥

I was really looking forward to trying this bakery since it’s such a local favorite, but unfortunately my experience didn’t live up to the hype. On a positive note, the service was great. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere, however, could use some improvement — it didn’t feel as polished or inviting as I expected. The biggest disappointment was the cake. It was extremely dry and completely crumbled when sliced. The flavor was very bland, and the frosting was unpleasant and overwhelming rather than complementary. It made the cake difficult to enjoy. I also purchased a berry pie with a custard filling, which unfortunately was just as disappointing. The filling lacked balance and didn’t taste fresh, and the overall texture was unappealing. Given the bakery’s reputation, I expected much better quality. I hope this was just an off day, but based on this visit, I wouldn’t return for these items.
