I’ve been to so many bakeries, but this place really stands out. You can actually see and taste the beautiful layers in the pastries—crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. They also have such a great variety that it’s fun just deciding what to try! We went around 9 AM on Friday, and right after we arrived, the line started getting really long. I guess that’s what happens when a place is this good! 😄 Luckily, the staff was super friendly and efficient, so the line moved surprisingly fast. I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t try the Beef Wellington because it’s only available on weekends, but they had plenty of other sandwiches to choose from, and the one I had was delicious. The coffee had a nice touch of acidity that paired perfectly with the pastries. Definitely a bakery I’d love to visit again—next time, I’m coming back for that Beef Wellington!

I stopped by around 9:30am on a weekday, so thankfully there wasn’t a crazy line, but the place was still packed inside. If it’s your first time, choosing what to get can be a little overwhelming because everything looks so good. I wanted to try both a savory and a sweet pastry, so I went with the potato cheddar and the tiramisu tart. The potato cheddar was surprisingly delicious and ended up being my favorite of the two. The tiramisu tart was just okay. Looking back, I probably should have gone with the strawberry croissant because it looked amazing. The ordering process is a little different, you pick out your pastries first and then get in line to pay at the cashier. I also ordered a latte, which was good, and the staff was friendly and efficient despite how busy it was. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would come back, but probably only if there isn’t a huge line. The pastries are good, but I’m not sure I’d wait behind 10+ people for them.

Some of the most delectable and beautiful pastries I’ve ever had! Every time we come here they are so kind and welcoming. From the staff to the pastries to the coffee to the design choices it’s just five stars all around. Gives me something to look forward to, I love being a regular here! Much love to the Relic team, thank you for creating such a gem. 🩷🩷🩷

Meets and even beats the hype! An incredible array of pastries and other options, from sweet to savory. Reasonable prices for the quality they offer. Really can’t go wrong with anything but the butter croissant and pain au chocolat are simply outstanding. A few people I know told me to try this place and praised it heavily. I did not expect to have the best croissant since I was in Paris in 2024. Bravo!

New bakery on 15th in East Village. Off the beaten path a tad but this place is totally worth it. When we walked in, there was a small line but it went quickly, the place was packed! The breakfast sandwich was incredible. The English muffin was made in house and was light and fluffy. The savory lamb croissant was so so good as well. Plenty of savory and sweet treats there. Had breakfast this am, but will definitely be back for lunch (and to take some croissants back home with me). Such an incredible addition to the ever so growing East Village food scene. This place is an absolute must try!
