This hidden gem of a deli is insanely good. I got the BLTA and it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve maybe ever had, including as a non vegan. Perfectly toasted bread and I think they may have used a garlic aioli or some sort of seasoned oil because the bread was fragrant!! Crispy vegan bacon, tonsss of avocado, lettuce, and tomato. It was very filling I ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner (plus split the wings for dinner). And it was only $14!!! My boyfriend got the Reuben he inhaled it all at lunch and said it was really good. Great selection at the store too, lots of fun specialty vegan items and they’re very reasonably priced. Like same prices as the sprouts near my house but I’d rather support a small local business! Got lots of goodies I had only seen online and I’m excited to try them out. Yo egg, variety of tempehs, vegan cheeses, wines, seitan etc. Definitely will be back even just for the lunch it was sooo good. $28 for two big sandwiches is hard to beat. I went to sleep thinking about that BLTA…idk what was added to the bread but it worked so well.

Great vegan market with almost anything you’d need from meat, dairy, to snacks. They carry many things you can’t get from your typical grocer. Check it out, vegan or not, and get a few things. One of the few places in San Diego that carries Thrilling Bacon - the best!

I love San Diego Vegan Market and I'm lucky to live somewhat nearby! They have a variety of products I have never seen anywhere else, ranging from niche health foods and ingredients, to specialty imitation meats, to candy bars. All vegan of course. I stop by whenever I'm in the neighborhood because I love to pick up their premade deli sandwiches for a quick, special meal! The owner and staff are super friendly and responsive. I also appreciate their commitment to animals and the San Diego vegan community!

I *think* this place is family owned and ran. They had some products I haven't seen before. Definitely a small local business to support. I'm not vegan but I had their turkey bacon ranch with added pickled jalapenos, it was very good. Came back and got a breakfast burrito and a Cali burrito with my partner and we both loved them. Get the breakfast burrito💚

Darn fine deli! And a market with so many options, odds and ends, and fun snacks and treats. Came here after hiking mission trails for a Philly cheese steak and some other goodies, the service was great, was pleased with how much variety they offered for food and supplies and I loooooved my sandwich. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the food menu.
