I’ve been coming to Shatto Vet since getting my cat in 2020. It is one of the hardest vets office to get an appointment - and sustain an appointment. The vet is constantly “calling out sick” after appointments get confirmed the day before. Theres no way there’s only one vet available. Stupid interaction on the phone with a technician/receptionist who has no proper phone etiquette when talking to clients. I made my appointment a week in advance this time for concerns with my cat. This kid had the audacity to tell me “sounds like you’re really worried about that” which is incredibly rude and dismissive of a comment to say towards your clients when you’re attempting to reschedule an appointment. No empathy, no care, just: “yeah maybe you can try an urgent care or another vets office”, “sounds like you’re worried about that”. This is not the first time, second, nor third that my standing confirmed appointment had to be cancelled. Mind you, it’s tough enough as it is to find a vet in LA that’s open on the weekends. They’re constantly changing their schedules because I for sure had weekend appointments with them before. I’ve been back and forth of coming back here over the last 6 years a

I’ve been coming to Shatto 6 years now and it’s always been a great experience. Even in the middle of the pandemic they have always made me and Hermes (my cat) feel welcomed and at ease. Friendly and knowledgeable staff is what makes us come back every year. I recommend them 100%.

Staff here were very unfriendly and rude. I went in for a routine vaccine for my cat and staff were not very attentive to me. So spent alot of time sitting and waiting. The vet tech was very nice and personable tho. She pointed out to the front desk that I was waiting and gave my cat his vaccinations quickly. Front desk was very unprofessional especially the one with the face peircings. Unfriendly and unapologetic when taking a long time to process my payment. There were no other customers waiting. No smile no customer service so felt uncomfortable. Just a very weird interaction overall. Won't be coming here again.

Everyone was very nice to me and my dog. The floor is cold so don’t forget to bring a mat for your dog to lie down on in the waiting room. I did not have a mat so I used my jacket but the floor is very clean. The doctors and technicians are very professional, especially Dr. Ta. They made sure to ask about travel timelines so that you understand how long the titer test is valid for, even though it is not their responsibility to help you keep track of patients’ own travel plans or make sure you have all of the necessary paperwork. The gentleman sitting at the front desk even told me that the human’s name on the health certificate will have to match the name on the passport, so if you have dual citizenship and the name of your second passport is in another language, this is VERY important to know. I was very pleased with the service. Parking was free and extremely convenient.

Great staff! We had a friendly and polite vet named David. My dog liked him! They gave her updated shots along with diagnosing her rash, and we were in and out within an hour. We'll definitely be coming back with my other pets.
