I went here for an urgent care visit under my Anthem HMO insurance (in network) on a very quiet Saturday morning, first thing in the morning. They checked me in, got my insurance information and I sat down expecting very little wait as I was the only person in the waiting room. I proceeded to wait close to 2 hours, just for a doctor to hurriedly talk to me for about 5 minutes tops, and even then he just punted the problem to somebody else. Basically told me I should go to my PCP with the exact same problem that I told him about. Not sure why I had to wait that long for an urgent care that was basically completely empty for nothing. I got billed a $20 copay as normal and went home. 7 months later, I get a bill in the mail for $2538 from Southern California Hospitals for that same visit, no itemized receipt, no explanation of why I was getting billed 7 months later and for even what. I called their billing department, and they said they had no idea what the bill was for, so I told them I need an itemized receipt to see what kind of bogus charges they were trying to hit me for when I saw a doctor who didn't have to touch me and for 5 minutes max. The billing department person also p

One of the worst experiences of my life. I felt worse here after 6 hours than when I checked in for a 5150. Most staff are not qualified and especially do not concern themselves with patients care or needs. They want to get that medical and Medicare $$ If you or any of your loved ones have mental health issues, please do not darken their doorsteps here you were they will be much worse off after a few hours.

I had a largely positive experience. I felt most of the staff/nurses/doctors were very professional, caring, and kind. I did not feel like just a number in a large, robotic hospital. I like the smaller feel of this hospital and felt like my needs/requests were taken seriously. The major negative was that in the 2 nights I was there, I never got consistent sleep -- even though I requested not to be woken until early morning (I had been up all night in pain the night before I was admitted). Instead, I was woken every couple of hours for tests. I realize some of these tests were necessary for safety, but couldn't the staff have coordinated to all come at one time so I could get much needed rest. It's dangerous to get subpar sleep 2 nights in a row when you're dealing with a serious medical issue. Other than that, my experience was largely positive.

I’ve never been to a worse hospital (if that’s how I should call it). I arrived at 5pm to the Urgent Care for a swollen and infected cyst. The doctor only saw me 4 hours later to tell me that the cyst is β€œnot ready yet to be drained”. I basically spent 4.5 hours for the doctor to say he can’t do it and will change my antibiotics. After it I was supposed to wait 30 more minutes only to remove my I.V and to get new prescription. One of the nurses gave an excuse that the doctor is β€œtoo old” and that that’s would be the excuse for the long wait. She also gave me an attitude answer saying that they are going through shortage and that if I’m a doctor I should apply to work there. ZERO PROFESSIONALISM AND CARE FOR THE PATIENT.

this was my first urgent/er visit upon moving to la 2 years ago they did an excellent job and, after forgetting who they were and going to every other hospital in hollywood and the valley, they reminded me of their excellence tonight and i wanted to thank dr wade for his prudence and his conviction. he fulfilled my needs thoroughly and quickly while also counseling me on taking the initiative with my health so i dont need urgent care again!
