Had a wonderful experience for my friends birthday. The atmosphere was great, the decor was fantastic, music was nice, the presentation of all the food and dessert were phenomenal and delicious

My family and I came here for my birthday celebration and it was the best experience. The atmosphere, food, and service were all amazing. Our server, Riley, lounge server Izzy, Marvin who helped with the table, and even the bouncer Patrick, were all super friendly. We loved everyone there and my disabled mom was even helped go downstairs through the elevator. Thanks for being awesome, Tao!

Very unassuming from the outside but very extraordinary from the inside! The indoor decor and layout is exceptional. Once you step inside, you are transported to a different world. We went for the Sunday brunch buffet for $75 per person. There are 4 stations: a sirloin steak carving station, a ramen station, a sushi and sashimi station and a dessert station. Aside from these 4 stations, you can order other items on the menu. If the menu item has a price next to it, it's additional to the $75 per person charge. Varied selection of included items from edamame appetizer up to grilled branzino on the menu. Their shrimp pork siumai was excellent. The sushi and sashimi was very fresh! They even had shucked oysters and shrimp cocktail. The only thing that I wouldn't recommend is the egg salad sando sandwich. The bread was not as good as it should be. It was a little dry. The egg salad wasn't as thick too. Not worth the additional $35 in my opinion. Other than that, everything was great! Our server, Stephen, was very attentive and always checked up on our table. Parking is a bit of a challenge. They have valet and there is a paid public parking lot around the corner.

The atmosphere and the dj was great. The food however was so disappointing. The chicken gyoza were extremely salty. The vegetable fried rice was overtly cooked, dry, and crunchy in a way that it’s not supposed to be. The “crispy” orange chicken was some of the worst I’ve ever had. It wasn’t even crisp. Panda express makes better orange chicken. The chocolate Buddha was alright. We tried the Bali sunset mocktail which was good too. If you want to pay for a cool atmosphere/music/drinks then it’s cool but the food is not it, it’s disgusting especially for the price.

As a last minute escapade, we went to Tao. We walked in about 6:30pm on a Sat. night with no reservations. We were lucky to snag seats at the bar. We order Lobster Fried Rice, Charred Brussels Sprouts, Chicken Satay, Crispy Lobster Roll, and the Wagu Steak Roll. Every thing we ordered was Delicious! If it wasn't just the two of us we would have ordered even more food. Besides the great food, they have a nice cocktail list. My wife had the Lychee Martini and I had sparkling water. The bartenders are great. The atmosphere is a true hot spot. People were falling in all night. One thing for sure, whoever designed the location... They didn't hold back... The decor is absolutely off the charts.
