Came in while the World Cup was on and ended up staying a lot longer than planned. The kotteri broth is exactly what it's advertised to be — thick enough that it clings to the noodles like gravy, and the small bowl of rice on the side is basically mandatory to cut through it. The gyoza came out with a proper crisp bottom, not steamed-soggy. Staff were friendly and quick even with the room filling up and both games going. Also worth looking up on your way in: the Einstein mural and the wavy light installation running across the ceiling. Nice room.

This ramen is AMAZING!! I had given up hope with going to little Tokyo for ramen after my favorite spot closed down. Thankfully i decided to give Tenkaippin a try and I'm so glad i did! I've been here twice and gotten the Spicy Ramen. The thick broth is incredible, the Chashu pork tender, and the egg flavorful. It also comes out steaming hot. This is so important because it's my biggest issue with most ramen places. Nothing kills the vibes more than luke warm broth. The Chashudon half bowl is also really flavorful. It's a nice side dish to have with their ramen. So now you know to skip the luke warm Daikokuya next door and come get a steaming hot bowl of delicious ramen at Tenkaippin!

I had the Kotteri Signature combo because the menu made MAX seem like a daunting challenge. The menu said that once you go MAX, you never go back. I’m not prepared; I want to come back. What I ordered: • Diet Coke - $3.00 • Combo B Signature (Kotteri ramen and Salmon Avocado bowl) $25.00 • Seasoned Egg - $2.50 All of that plus tip = expect to pay around $40 if you tip well. That’s what it costs to go out and get a good bowl of soup in this economy. A slice of chashu pork, green onions, add a seasoned egg, plus a bowl of salmon avocado rice. At least you’ll be very full for the price. The noodles aren't too thin or thick and hold the broth well. When you finish your noodles and only the broth remains, you can totally stand your spoon up in the broth as advertised. My server was attentive, answered my questions, got me water and gave me Diet Coke in a can.

We came here for a late dinner on a Tuesday night. There were 8 of us and finding a big table was easy here. The place is known for its special style of Ramen. We soon ordered and settled back to wait. My Signature Kotteri Ramen came with a thick and almost viscous like broth. Although chicken based, it reminded me of runny egg yolks in consistency. The noodles were soft and thick to my liking. My friends also enjoyed their Silky versions and we had some creative appetisers, including the SPAM Katsu - breaded and fried sticks of SPAM. The decor blends the modern river-like feature ceiling light with more traditional furniture and open spaces. Friendly and quick service in a relaxed atmosphere. Overall a good experience and fun variation of the classic go-to.

The food was amazing and tasted amazing!! (I got the miso ramen). But what kinda sucked about this restaurant is that service sucked, they took forever to take our order, and took even longer to get the check. I would recommend but just beware.
