I have been to this theater many times before. I like the location and how easy it is to park. However, last night aI had an experience that needs to be shared. Just so that yβall know. I went to see The Odyssey last night. The theater was filthy - popcorn in between the seat and the seat rest, sticky seats. While I appreciate the in your seat-service, the servers should be aware that if they are speaking to a customer while the movie is ALREADY playing, they need to first, lower their voice, and second crouch down so that they donβt stand in front of any of the surrounding moviegoers and block the view. The movie started and every time there was a loud noise like an explosion, boulders falling from the mountain, scenes of intense war, waves crashing, etc (which is kinda the entire movie), the projector shook making the image move. Lousy experience. I went out to speak to the manager in duty and his response was: βthat is the sound coming from the movie (duh!) and if you want we can lower the treble on the sound but then it will affect the sound.β Look, I said, I donβt know what you should do but what I can tell you is that I am SURE the director did not intend for the images to

Title: Disappointing lack of oversight and theater etiquette at THE LOT, Liberty Station / Point Loma I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment regarding my recent experiences at THE LOT, Liberty Station / Point Loma. I have been a patron of this theater since shortly after it opened, and I have always appreciated its potential as an upscale venue. However, the recent lack of vigilance regarding theater etiquette and illegal activity is deeply concerning and frankly unexpected given the standards this establishment once upheld. During two separate visits, I have had my viewing experience severely compromised by other guests. On one occasion, a patron was so loud, gesturing incessantly and disrupting the film with non-stop noise, that I was forced to cover my ear for the duration of the movie just to make it through. Most recently, I witnessed a patron using the seatβs built-in menu light to actively pirate a film. The light was bright and clearly visible to me as I was sitting right next to the family. When I informed the waiter about the light, they looked at the patrons and the light was turned off; however, the lack of follow-up meant the disruption persisted s

My favorite movie theater in San Diego. The staff is always nice and attentive whenever we need help with anything before or during the movie. They updated their ordering system to use your phone which is very convenient. Food quality is always great and the portions are bigger than you expect. They have fun themed cocktails for movies too which adds to the experience.

This location is starting to feel like an overpriced AMC. The comparison is due to the cleanliness. Based on the amount of dirt, I now question the kitchen's cleanliness, too. If I can see the dirt, I know management can see it too. I want to give a higher rating because my husband and I enjoy visiting THE LOT at Liberty Station, but for the life of me, I cannot understand why they will not clean the chairs and side tables before the next viewing. We have no problem spending a total of $48 for two tickets (because it is a luxury cinema), but I should not have to clean sticky residue from my chair and side table before sitting down. And also, why did the theater smell like mildew or something? After the movie was over, I went to the ladies' room, and OMG, it was a disaster! I have visited cleaner truckstop restrooms. And the stalls... the amount of actual dust, dust, and grim collected at the base of the walls and baseboards was ridiculous. This location needs a good power wash. I would love to suggest going to Cinepolis, but sadly, it is worse.

I love going to The LOT! Itβs the perfect place to spend an afternoon or evening because it has everything you need to have a great time. The restaurant offers delicious food, and the movie theater is always clean, comfortable, and well maintained. One of my favorite things is that you can order food and drinks right from your seat while enjoying the movie, which makes the experience even better. The bathrooms are always clean, there is plenty of parking, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and enjoyable. Whether youβre going for dinner, a movie, or both, The LOT is a fantastic place to relax and have fun. Highly recommended!
