For a place to eat or drink, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open now, how long is the wait at peak hours, and does the menu suit the group you are bringing. American restaurants typically run lunch and dinner services with a quieter stretch in between, coffee shops open early, and many kitchens close earlier on Sunday. Cards and tap-to-pay are accepted almost everywhere, a tip of 15-20% is customary for table service, and sales tax is added at the register.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–12 am. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (619) 550-1818. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, valsvegankitchen.com.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Diego is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Jackie & Jillian were super sweet & helpful with placing our order and giving us great feedback/recommendations. Even the back of house smiled at me which made me feel welcome. We got the Veggielicious & Veggie KBBQ burgers and added curly fries to one of the orders for an additional $3. Both burgers were yummy since we had them cut in halves to share. I preferred the Veggie KBBQ and liked the regular french fries surprisingly over the curly ones. We plan to return in the future. Be mindful that there’s a small eating area since the location is shared with another restaurant which I found rare yet nice. The only improvement that I noticed was that the restrooms need tending to even though they were so cute inside. Gracias VVK! Sending the owners, staff and customers success πŸ™πŸΌπŸ˜‡

Yum!! Wow what an extensive menu. I could have ate here every day all week I was visiting easily. Really loved the mushroom and Swiss burger and my friend loved her bowl! But omg don’t miss out on the chocolate - the rayluca in the fridge by the register is SO good and so are the same brand chocolates you can buy on the side. Went back to just get more chocolate to bring home. Lots of indoor seating and some cute spots outside too!

Just wanted to take the time to write a review about this amazing place! I came here on April 14th 2026 around 6:15pm. First time trying this place out and am always looking for healthy options. Immediately as I walked in I was greeted by the cutest cashier at the register who just had a beautiful smile and lots of good energy lol. Such a great vibe as soon as I walked in. Got my order taken and ordered to go. The food was delicious! I ordered the veggielicious! Man to that girl working the register keep spreading the love and don’t let anyone take that smile away from you! Wish I could have talked a bit more but was in a rush. Overall great place friendly people good vibes. And dam good prices!

There is 3 different restaurants in one building so it was a little confusing upon arrival. The food did not disappoint! Great options with amazing flavor! We had the bugolgi (spelling) mac n cheese, triple J, with cheese & gravy waffle fries and nachos with "pulled pork". The "cheese" was some.of the best vegan cheese I've tried. There's also a outdoor patio with a cute butterfly garden. I'd for sure return.

I got the cutest delivery experience with Val's Vegan Kitchen, I never knew how nice it was to experience that through a delivery. The burgers are nicely wrapped in checkered paper that they punch hearts πŸ’• in that ends up as heart confetti in your bag. The Dirty Burger, my word, so good and filling and I'm elated to find a vegan fast food meal that isn't $26 with fries and drink! I loved this meal so much I ordered again that week. And a few more times after. I'm excited to see what the dine in option will be, I'm a huge fan!
