Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Dr. Schulman is an absolute rockstar. She is clearly knowledgable about the possible treatment choices for my cat's distress and treated both of us with respect and dignity. She should be recognized as a leader in this field, both because of her knowledge and skill and her bedside manner. I could trust that, when my cat and I entered the office, Dr. Schulman would advocate for us and provide us with the best possible care. I cannot thank her enough. During the last year I have felt respected as a client and pet owner. I was well taken care of by all of the doctors and staff at VCA and would recommend the internal medicine team to any of my friends or family.

FOREVER TRAUMATIZED BY DR. OHASHI & TEAM I'm here to echo the MANY traumatic experiences from people who were seen by Dr. Ohashi - the primary oncologist at VCA and truly an evil human being. A negative experience that not only negligently left our dog PARALYZED in his final days but also spending unnecessary money on a treatment that would not benefit him. It's truly unbelievable that this horrid woman still maintains a job let alone a client facing role in this hospital. I brought my sweet boy Obi in urgently after an unexpected and gruesome cancer diagnosis that we received only 72 hours prior to our appointment with Ohashi. Naturally we were blindsided, devastated, and confused with a million questions about how this could have happened. I spent 20 solid minutes talking to her assistant Dr. Josie trying to thoroughly explain Obi's medical history over the last 2 years as well as what we had been told by our primary vet (which was that he was perfectly healthy as far as they could tell), and that we were given no signs or indications that he had been sick or in any kind of pain. Dr. Josie appeared understanding and empathetic until she left and return with Ohashi and then she

My French bulldog began having seizures 7 months ago, and after not getting much information from my own vet, I reached out to the Neurology Dept at VCA. They saw him, scheduled an MRI, and we unfortunately found that it was a brain tumor. I worked with Dr Oliphant, and over the following seven months she and her team were very helpful, seeing him regularly, calling me back to discuss any time he had a seizure, and working with me to adjust his meds as needed. When he finally needed to be let go, they were very gentle and kind, helping to make the process as gentle as possible. This time was very difficult, but I am grateful for the care they provided.

I’m so grateful for this clinic! They’re not my regular veterinary hospital since my dog and I are based in the Bay Area, but they truly went above and beyond for us. On July 3rd, while we were driving to San Diego, my dog, Chai, started experiencing medical issues that progressively worsened throughout the day. I called this clinic at the last minute, hoping they could fit us in. They were able to see her very quickly, which was an incredible relief given how concerning her symptoms were. I wish I had caught the names of both veterinarians who helped us because they deserve to be recognized for how compassionate, attentive, and supportive they were. The first veterinarian was a woman who took the time to thoroughly explain how Chai was doing, what tests and lab work she recommended, and what everything meant. She patiently answered every question I had and never made me feel rushed. She and her technician were both incredibly kind. I was overwhelmed with worry, but their compassion and reassurance helped ease so much of my anxiety. After Chai was discharged, I noticed her symptoms were still quite severe, so I called the clinic again. This time, I spoke with a male veterinarian wh

It has been nearly 3 months since we said goodbye to our beloved fur baby, Pepper, at VCA ASG. From the moment I brought him in to his last moments, he was taken care of with the level of care and compassion we absolutely needed. The supporting staff and Dr Andreou made all the difference in the world. We didn’t know it was Pepper’s last day when we brought him in, but we’re so thankful he was in their hands. We will never forget how gently he was taken care of in his last moments earth-side. They went above and beyond to explain next steps and ensure that we were able to get what we needed even when we thought it was too late. Thank you for everything ASG- we appreciate it more than you know.
