Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Traffic in Los Angeles peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. I brought in a stray cat, estimated to be around 4 years old, that I had recently started acclimating to life indoors. Vermont Animal Hospital became her very first veterinary clinic, and in a single day they completed a full examination, vaccinations, bloodwork, and her spay surgery. During the process, one of the veterinary technicians was unfortunately scratched and visibly injured while handling my cat. I felt terrible because it happened while caring for a stray that I had brought in. When I apologized and asked if she was okay, she simply smiled and said, β€œIt’s part of the job. Thank you for bringing in a stray cat and giving her a chance.” That response genuinely touched me. What impressed me most was that the entire staff seemed far more concerned about my cat’s well-being than their own discomfort. Even after being scratched, they continued giving me advice and reminding me to be careful when bringing her back for her follow-up visit in two weeks. The pricing was also very reasonable and transparent, and I never felt pressured into unnecessary treatments or expenses. The staff was compassionate, professional, and truly dedicated to helping animals. This experience lef

Dr. Lee is so patient and kind. I left a message to talk to Dr. Lee about the eye medicine we got for my dog and he called me back less than 1 hour. For my other vet, I had to leave 3-4 message to get her call back. Dr. Lee explained about the medicines again and he reassured that it is normal for me having a hard time putting the eye drop on my dog's eye. He gave me a few tips to do it easier. He also offered me to bring back my dog before our next appointment if I want to, since it is free to see the doctor again within a month. I feel so relieved to have Dr. Lee as our vet.

Update: 06/09/2026: Subsequent to my negative review below, I received an email stating that I was banned, citing to my negative review as the reason. Our new vet is Grand Park Animal Hospital. Truly A+ customer service and attention to your pet (offered us water - me and my pet while we waited, parking is validated 3hrs so you can shop around the mall, prices are comparable but for the couple extra bucks soooo worth it). 06/01/2026: Clinic requires that you have all your pets vaccines done here before they conduct any service, even if that requires double vaccinating your pup. Rabbies: $20, Bordatella: $24, DA2PP: $24. In addition, you must schedule a routine exam $60 to receive any service whatsoever. The routine exam, in my experience, consists of the vet conducting an oral exam of less than a minute and checking the heart beat. (At another clinic, at least the vet conducted a reflex test on my pup. Not here.) Used to come here because it was cheap to get an allergy shot for my dog but not anymore. For the cost, you can receive better customer care elsewhere.

Dr.Lee is very kind and he explained every details unlike other vet I have been seeing. Very trustworthy. He examed Chowder very thoroughly and he even had me follow him to the back room to see Chowder's test result. I am so glad to find the amazingly kind vet I dreamed for my Chowder and Chai.

Please do not bring your dog here. Came for a routine spay and never saw my baby again. Dropped my 1 year old, healthy, happy baby off for her spay appointment then got a call 2 hours later letting me know that her heart suddenly stopped during recovery and that she had passed away. Rushed to the vet to see my baby and see her little body stiff and cold and the only explanation I get from Dr. Hyung Jun An is β€œI don’t know what happened.” I so much regret bringing my baby here and hope no other pet parent has to go through this.
