There is a 7-11 a couple of blocks away but no pharmacies nearby. There are restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance though. Honestly I was worried about staying here because of all of the reviews, but the room was fine except for two things: there was mold in the fridge that smelled horrible and the bathroom light randomly turned on all througout the night. The lady at the front desk was very nice at check-in and the housekeepers were nice as well. You can hear the trolley but if you use ear plugs or a white noise app you'll be fine.

I really like Hampton Inn, but I believe this location may be due for a refresh. My room had an unpleasant odor so a deep cleaning was executed to no avail. The bathroom door had a hole in it and the flooring in one of the elevators was worn through to the underlying wood. This location is next to the Little Italy tram stop which creates a lot of noise. The breakfast was good and fairly plentiful. The staff was very helpful.

Good hotel if you can book a room at a raisonnable price. Breakfast is very good (hot and cold options, healthy and less healthy options), room was average, view was on another wall, but it was clean and bed confortable which is what matters most. Our room was on the side, we could hear the trains but we didnt hear anything during night (not sure if we were too much asleep or if the trains stop at night). Staff is very nice. Located in a lively area, italian grocery not far, cruise terminal 15 min walk if you walk slowly. Would go back.
