San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Traffic in San Diego peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I spent a year at The Rey, and itβs been such a positive experience, mostly because of the amazing team. Tina and Matthew were honestly the bestβwhenever I needed something, they were there to help right away and made sure I had everything I needed. It always felt like they genuinely cared about making my living experience the best it could be. I worked hard to make my apartment feel like home, and the team were so supportive of that. Plus, being walking distance to places like El Cortez and Tweet Street was a huge perk. It felt like a peaceful retreat from downtown, but still close enough to everything I wanted to be near. My time at The Rey was really special, and Iβll always appreciate how the people made it feel like home.

Update 05/29/25: Donβt rent #1410 without negotiating. The construction is directly in front of youβlosing privacy and peace six days a week from 5am-6pm drilling, slamming, unrelenting of noise. You will hate it. At the end, I spent 6 hours deep cleaning the apartment, including all appliances, bathrooms, cabinets, refrigerator, etc., before moving out, photos attached, and they still tried to charge us $580 for cleaning and paintingβ¦ First time in 10 years of renting I have ever had my deposit docked. We are disputing, but disappointed in this and the renewal that came in too high after our lease was up to consider. Overall, would not rent again. 01/2024 Review For reference I moved from a VHCOL, dense urban city, so my opinions are factoring that. I-moved in a couple weeks ago into a 930sqft 2/2 for $3.3k on a high floor. No utilities are included. Parking is $100 for one car and thereβs a small overhead storage cage. We got the 1 month free deal. I use AC/Heat liberally and spend about $25 a week on electric, $80 monthly for AT&T fiber, water, trash, etc are very low. Deposit was only $500. The building is beautiful and extremely clean. Wonderfully pet friendly. Amenities, e

Honest Review After Living for More Than 1 Month: Updated For 9 Months: August 14 2024 - 1. the Garage Gate still broken 2. Last week, I saw a homeless person shaving and charging his cell phone on P7 Garage. 3. You constantly see dog pee on elevators Cons: 1. Garage Gate has been broken for more than one month. --> 6 month update. The Garage Gate is still not fixed 2. An emailed was sent about cars getting broken into and property been stolen 3. Last Saturday I saw a homeless person sleeping on a mattress on P7 garage level. The mattress is still there in one of the parking spaces. 4. Leasing Team - agents seem to be unhappy. In fact, I have not met or received a follow up from the person who helped me sign the lease. 5. I moved from far away. The first day I arrived; one of the leasing agents looked like he did not want to help me. However, before signing the lease, the agents were calling and emailing me all the time providing great βcustomer service.β Now they would care less about providing great service. 6. The appliances are old. The first day in my unit one of the appliances broke. The washer and dryer are probably more than 10 years old, constantly breaking. Pros: 1.Th

I love living here! My apartment and the whole community really feels like a hotel. I love the white and wood finish in my room. My whole kitchen and appliances are Amazing. I love the wood and white finish in there as well. The stove and oven is the absolute best! I cook everyday and I enjoy it because of my kitchen set up. The gym is awesome and it feels cozy like a real gym. I like that itβs two rooms so it rarely gets crowded. The equipment is amazing and I have everything that I need and more. Iβm a gym junkie so the fact that I donβt have to pay for a gym membership made me happy. The sky deck is also super nice! I love going up there to take pictures, watch the sunset and do work! The staff is also very nice and responsive. Maintenance is fast and responsive as well. Those are all things that were very important to me in moving here.
